Vietnamese rescue team finds 21 victims in Myanmar - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television

On April 3, the Vietnamese rescue team had a working session with the Disaster Management Center, Ministry of Security, Mitigation and Resettlement of Myanmar, chaired by Minister, Dr. Soe Win.

At the meeting, the Vietnamese rescue team discussed with Minister Soe Win the situation in the past few days, as well as rescue work at the scene in the following days.

Specifically, after 5 days in Myanmar, the Vietnamese rescue team (including the Army and Police) has brought a total of nearly 20 victims' bodies out of the rubble, handed them over to their families and local authorities; coordinated with the Turkish Rescue Team and the Myanmar Rescue Team to successfully rescue 1 surviving victim.

The victims' families thanked the Vietnamese rescue team for helping them find the bodies of their loved ones, even though they had previously given up hope of finding them.

Minister Dr. Soe Win highly appreciated the support of the Vietnamese rescue team; hoped that the team would continue to share and help Myanmar in the coming time, to support the lives of people who have lost their homes and search for victims still trapped in the rubble.
