In the exciting atmosphere of the historic April days, Colonel Duong Ngoc Tuyen and representatives of General Vo Nguyen Giap's family reviewed the traditional history, milestones, and historical developments of the Military Petroleum Industry, especially during the period of resistance against the US to save the country.

At the same time, it is affirmed that the strong development and continuous growth of the Military Petroleum industry is partly due to the leadership, direction, and correct, strategic decisions of General and Commander-in-Chief Vo Nguyen Giap, especially the birth of the legendary Truong Son pipeline, one of the decisive factors in the victory of the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign, liberating the South and unifying the country.

In front of the spirit of General Vo Nguyen Giap, the members of the delegation vow to constantly strive, practice, study, innovate, and be creative in their work, determined to excellently complete assigned tasks, contributing to building the Petroleum Department and the Military Petroleum Industry to be comprehensively strong, "exemplary, typical", always ensuring good petroleum for the entire army to successfully carry out tasks in the new situation.

On this occasion, Colonel Duong Ngoc Tuyen presented the family representative with a precious photo capturing the moment when General Vo Nguyen Giap visited, inspected and encouraged the petroleum soldiers who were constructing the pipeline passing through the Central region (taken in 1968) and many valuable films, documents and materials of the Military Petroleum industry collected and stored by the Petroleum Department.
