Mr. Huynh Chi Hai, Director of Tra Vinh Electricity Company, reported on solutions to increase the rate of households using safe electricity.

 

At the meeting, Mr. Huynh Chi Hai, Director of Tra Vinh Electricity Company reported on the electricity supply situation in the province for daily life and production in the first quarter of 2025; some orientations in investing in the power grid; increasing the rate of households using safe electricity in the province.

Mr. Ngo Van Sy, Director of NDDH Company reported on production and business results in the first quarter of 2025.

In 2025, the Company was assigned an electricity output of 19,616 million kilowatt hours according to the plan assigned by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Of which, Duyen Hai 1 Thermal Power Plant is 7,958 million kilowatt hours; Duyen Hai 3 Thermal Power Plant is 7,948 million kilowatt hours; Duyen Hai 3 Thermal Power Plant expansion is 3,710 million kilowatt hours. With the Company's efforts, the electricity output in the first quarter of 2025 reached 3,966 million kilowatt hours, reaching 73.61% of the first quarter plan of 2025, reaching 35.15% of the dry season plan and 20.22% of the yearly plan and equal to 136.77% over the same period.

Comrade Pham Van Tam, Provincial Party Committee member, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, spoke about the difficulties and the need to strive to achieve the commercial electricity targets of the two companies.

 

The Company currently has 1,214 officers, employees and workers. Of these, 786 employees have registered residence in the province, accounting for more than 64.7% of the Company's employees. In addition, the Company indirectly creates jobs for about 100 unskilled workers working in factories: taking care of trees and industrial cleaning and more than 500 seasonal workers during repair periods.

Comrade Pham Quoc Dung, Head of Tax Department of Region XVIII informed about the budget payment situation of 02 Companies.

 

Regarding social security, in 2024 and the first 4 months of 2025, the Company contributed more than 4.24 billion VND to social security activities in the locality; in the first quarter of 2025, Power Generation Corporation 1 and the Company fulfilled their obligations to the State budget of more than 202 billion VND.

Mr. Ngo Van Sy added: In order to ensure the environment at the Company, in addition to maintaining operations and regularly checking and maintaining systems and works to treat dust, exhaust gas and wastewater generated from factories, the Company also planted more than 1,000 trees of all kinds in the Operation Management Area, factories and along the roads in front of the Company, contributing to creating a green, clean, beautiful landscape and regulating the climate of the factory area.

Regarding ash and slag consumption, in the first quarter of 2025, the total volume of ash and slag generated was 244,098.32 tons, consumed 239,598.77 tons, reaching 98.16% and exploited at the slag dump was 49,828.2 tons, reaching 18% of the plan (274,334 tons).

At the meeting, National Assembly deputies and leaders of provincial departments and branches discussed many issues related to production and business activities of NDDH Company and Tra Vinh Electricity Company, especially targets, environment, output, and strategic solutions for production and business in 2025.

Comrade Thach Phuoc Binh, Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the 15th National Assembly delegation, delivered a concluding speech at the working session.

In the coming time, comrade Thach Phuoc Binh requested that the relevant departments and branches be responsible for inspecting and supporting the two companies to fulfill their tax obligations correctly, fully, transparently, and in accordance with current laws.
