HNN.VN - On July 30, the Ministry of National Defense delegation led by Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Hien, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of National Defense, and the delegation attending the 13th City Military Party Congress, term 2025-2030, offered incense, flowers and reported achievements at the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hue City.

Before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, the delegates respectfully offered incense, flowers and observed a minute of silence to express their gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh - the national liberation hero, world cultural celebrity, genius leader of our Party and people, beloved Father of the Vietnam People's Army.

The delegation attending the City Military Party Congress respectfully reported to Uncle Ho on the results that the city's armed forces have achieved in the past term. Notably, they have focused on leading and directing the city's armed forces to promote the spirit of self-reliance, solidarity, initiative and creativity, comprehensively deploying all aspects of work, successfully completing the tasks, goals and targets set by the Resolution of the 12th City Military Party Congress, contributing to building a national defense associated with the people's security posture, building a solid defense area. With the achievements, in 2021, the city's armed forces were awarded the Excellent Emulation Flag by the Ministry of National Defense , in 2022, they were awarded the Excellent Emulation Flag by the Government and many other noble awards.

The delegation attending the City Military Party Congress vowed to continue to make efforts to build the Vietnam People's Army and the Hue City Armed Forces to be increasingly disciplined, "Elite, Compact, and Strong", determined to successfully carry out the two strategic tasks of building and defending the Fatherland in the new situation.

On this occasion, the City Military Command organized a flower arrangement contest.   with the theme "Under the glorious Party flag" with 5 teams from grassroots women's associations.

Previously, with the motto “Healthy to build and protect the Fatherland”, the City Military Command organized a sports festival to welcome the Congress. The festival had 8 teams with more than 100 athletes competing in 2 sports: tennis and 7-a-side men's football.
