On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025) and the Lunar New Year 2025, on the morning of January 22, a delegation of the Party Committee, government, armed forces and people of all ethnic groups in Quang Ninh province, led by comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, offered incense and flowers at the Monument to the Heroic Martyrs of Ha Long City and the Monument of comrade Vu Van Hieu, the first Secretary of the Special Zone Party Committee of Quang Ninh Mining Area.
In a solemn atmosphere, comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and the delegation observed a minute of silence, offered incense, flowers and respectfully bowed to commemorate the heroic martyrs and comrade Vu Van Hieu, Hero of the People's Armed Forces, first Secretary of the Quang Ninh Mining Zone Special Zone, who devoted his whole life to the revolutionary cause of national liberation.
Following the example of heroic martyrs and comrade Vu Van Hieu, the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Quang Ninh province have promoted the spirit of self-reliance, dynamism and creativity, maintained solidarity and unity; aroused all potentials, strengths and endogenous resources, built Quang Ninh to develop more and more, making important contributions to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland, innovating and developing the country.
2024 is a challenging and difficult year for Quang Ninh province when it has to face many difficulties and challenges, especially the historic storm Yagi that caused heavy damage, but with the spirit of solidarity, creativity and strong will, the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Quang Ninh province have overcome all difficulties and successfully completed the goals and tasks, maintained political - economic - social stability, maintained solidarity, unity of will and action; maintained the trust of the people, businesses, cadres, party members and achieved important results in all fields; basically completed the main goals set out in the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Party Congress. The economic growth rate for the whole year reached 8.42%, higher than the national average. The scale of the economy reached nearly 350,000 billion VND, ranking 7th in the country. GRDP per capita reached over 10,200 USD; state budget revenue exceeded the central government's estimate. Quang Ninh's cultural development and people with rich identities have made progress in many aspects. Social security has received special attention. National defense and security have been ensured, national border sovereignty has been maintained, building a peaceful , friendly, stable, cooperative and developing border. The work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system has received special attention.
Entering the new year of At Ty 2025, with pride and steadfast faith in the glorious Party, in the beloved President Ho Chi Minh, with new determination, new spirit, new motivation, the delegation of the Party Committee, government, armed forces and people of all ethnic groups in Quang Ninh province vows to study, fight, work and perform tasks worthy of the great sacrifices of the heroic martyrs; always unite with one heart, absolutely loyal to the Party, State and people, to the socialist regime; constantly promote revolutionary heroism, the good nature and traditions of the heroic mining region. Raise the determination to comprehensively complete the tasks of building a clean and strong Party and political system; develop the economy - society rapidly and sustainably; improve the quality of people's lives; build and firmly protect the defense zone of the Northeast region of the Fatherland and lead and direct the successful implementation of the tasks in 2025; successfully organized the Party Congresses at all levels and the 16th Quang Ninh Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030. Determined to build Quang Ninh province into a rich, beautiful, civilized, modern province, where people increasingly have a prosperous, happy life, confidently entering a new era of development with the whole country - the era of the Vietnamese people's rise.
