The Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee have paid attention to the propaganda and education of laws on traffic safety and order, regularly directing all levels, sectors, agencies and units to carry out propaganda work well from the planning stage to the implementation; patrolling, controlling and handling of violations of laws on traffic safety and order have been strengthened; Traffic accidents have always been controlled, the criteria for traffic accidents in the province in the period of 2019 - 2023 have decreased sharply compared to previous periods; there have been no prolonged traffic jams, convenient and safe traffic has contributed to promoting the socio-economic development of the locality...

Lao Cai province recommends that the National Assembly soon complete institutions and policies, promote decentralization, clearly define responsibilities, ensure unified, smooth and effective state management of traffic; the Government mobilizes investment resources to rapidly develop and synchronize traffic infrastructure in accordance with the scale and orientation of the country's socio-economic development; pay attention to investing in developing traffic infrastructure to ensure synchronization and modernity...

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trinh Xuan Truong explained and clarified the contents raised by the Supervisory Delegation. Especially about the difficulties and limitations in the process of ensuring traffic safety, the shortcomings in legal regulations, policies and mechanisms, implementation; recommendations and proposals to continue to effectively implement the topic in the coming time. At the same time, he affirmed that in the coming time, Lao Cai province will continue to focus on synchronously implementing tasks and solutions to achieve the set goals.
He also hopes to continue receiving attention and assistance from the National Assembly, the Government, and central agencies in the coming time, especially in resolving difficulties and obstacles in localities.
