Ningbo City Art Troupe, Zhejiang (China) brings traditional art and culture to Hai Phong people

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the evening of May 12, at the City Theater Square, the Ningbo City Art Troupe, Zhejiang, China had an art performance program on the occasion of the Troupe's participation in the Red Flamboyant Festival - Hai Phong 2025.

The program is organized by the Department of Foreign Affairs.

At the program, the city's residents enjoyed a rich and attractive "artistic feast" imbued with the unique cultural features of China. Typically, the joyful and enthusiastic performance "Golden Snake Dance" vividly recreated the joyful atmosphere of the holiday by borrowing the image of a golden snake to send the best wishes from the East to the audience.

“Mo Ni Shan” is a love song imbued with the blood of the steppe, carrying the immense beauty typical of the Mongolian people; “Eighteen Miles Farewell” is a classic excerpt from the opera Liang Shan Bo and Zhu Ying Tai, telling the story of the regretful farewell when Zhu Ying Tai finished her three years of studying and prepared to return home. Inspired by the classic work Ai Lian Shuo by Zhou Dunyi, the performance “Lotus” is a delicate blend of the demeanor and graceful movements typical of classical Chinese dance. Through each movement, the artist vividly depicts the noble and pure beauty of the lotus.
