The rammed earth house is a common architecture in the northern mountainous region of our country, but the Ha Nhi people build a special house in that each house is made in a square shape with four pyramidal roofs, covered with thatch made from grass or more recently, covered with tile or asbestos cement roofs.

A house is usually 60-80 square meters wide, but the walls are 40-60cm thick and 4-5m high. In the middle is the "arch" gate to the main house, on the side there can be a side entrance to the buffalo and cow pen next to the house.

Mr. San Cau Vu, Head of Choan Then village, Y Ty commune, Bat Xat district - said that Choan Then village currently has 62 households, with more than 300 people, 100% of whom are Ha Nhi ethnic people. Currently, villagers are preserving rammed earth houses associated with developing community tourism. Many households in the village with conditions have opened rammed earth house homestays to welcome tourists. Thereby, contributing to increasing income and preserving the local ethnic cultural identity.
