The FIFPRO 2025 Men's Team of the Year has been announced after more than 20,000 professional male footballers from 68 countries voted.
Five Paris Saint Germain players, including former goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, who now plays for Manchester City, are in this year's squad. They are all deserving, having been key players for Paris Saint Germain during their historic treble-winning season.
At just 18 years old, Barcelona's Lamine Yamal has made history by becoming the youngest player ever to be selected for the FIFPRO Team of the Year. The Spaniard broke the record previously held by Kylian Mbappe in 2018. The French striker made the team at the age of 19 with Paris Saint Germain
The 2025 squad is a mix of established players and promising newcomers. Mbappe and Virgil van Dijk continue to show consistency over the seasons, both making their sixth and fifth FIFPRO team of the year respectively. Meanwhile, Nuno Mendes, Vitinha, Pedri, Cole Palmer, Ousmane Dembele and Yamal all make their debuts, marking the arrival of a new generation of elite footballing talent.
Salah and Raphinha were left out of the FIFPRO 2025 squad despite their excellent performances last season. Jude Bellingham made the final list despite a less than successful year at Real Madrid.
Since its inception in 2005, the FIFPRO World 11 has been the only global football award decided entirely by professional players. These are the players who play at the highest level and know best who are truly great.
