From May 29-31, the Asia Tech X Singapore 2024 Summit and related events took place in Singapore, with the participation of security and technology officials, experts and corporations from many countries around the world , including Vietnam.
The event series focuses on two main parts: ATxSummit and ATxEnterprise. Of which, ATxEnterprise, taking place at Singapore EXPO, will feature conferences and exhibitions serving businesses in the fields of technology, broadcast media, information and communication, satellite communications and startups.
Following the success of last year's event, at this year's ATxEnterprise exhibition, the delegation of the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam and many Vietnamese enterprises in this field participated in the exhibition booth to introduce advanced technology products to about 700 international partners to visit and learn.
This time, Vietnamese enterprises have carefully prepared, bringing to the international market excellent technology products, notably smart solutions, Artificial Intelligence, smart homes integrated with Internet of Things (IoT) solutions.
International partners expressed interest in Vietnamese products in the fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI), facial and object recognition, etc.
Vietnamese Ambassador to Singapore, Mr. Mai Phuoc Dung, visited Vietnam's exhibition area at the event and promoted connections for development cooperation opportunities on this occasion.
Ambassador Mai Phuoc Dung emphasized: “Singapore is a technology center not only in Southeast Asia, Asia but also in the world. This is a very large and prestigious annual event. The participation of the Vietnamese delegation demonstrates the integration of domestic enterprises into the world market."
He also expressed his hope that Vietnamese businesses will increasingly participate in such events and reap more achievements, connect with international friends, learn and share experiences and solutions, especially about AI in the near future...
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuyen, Deputy Director of the Department of Information Technology and Communications Industry, Ministry of Information and Communications, head of the Vietnamese delegation attending ATxEnterprise, said: “This year, there is a bright spot in that Vietnamese enterprises attending the event have participated in most of the major markets in the world from Asia, Europe and America. Many of our products have new and high technology, with AI and IoT applications, which have won over many customers around the world…”.
The representative of Vitex Company, a Vietnamese enterprise attending the event, recognized that information technology fairs and seminars are very important sales channels for the company. Besides finding direct customers at the event, businesses also have the opportunity to visit and listen to global technology trends.
Assessing the trend in the coming time, the representative of Viettalk said: "Currently, in addition to looking to Vietnam as a destination for software outsourcing and IT talent, many technology companies in Europe and Singapore are looking at Vietnam as a digital transformation market."
At ATxEnterprise, the Singapore AI Summit also took place with many discussion topics that attracted the attention of many sectors. As a strong trend in the world, AI has great potential in the coming time, significantly changing the impact on services and jobs in the information technology sector as well as many other fields. The demand of the AI-related market will expand much more not only in Singapore but also in the international market.
