Song Trang Border Guard Station hands over 37kg crocodile to forest rangers

On the afternoon of November 13, information from Song Trang Border Guard Station said the unit handed over a 37kg crocodile to the forest rangers according to regulations on wildlife conservation.

The crocodile was handed over to the forest rangers by the Song Trang Border Guard Station.

Accordingly, on the evening of November 12, Mr. Nguyen Van Chuyen (30 years old, residing in Hung Dien commune, Tay Ninh province) was fishing on Cai Co river, near the Cambodian border, when he discovered a large object caught in the net.

A crocodile was caught by people while fishing with nets.

When pulling up, Mr. Chuyen discovered a large crocodile weighing about 37kg. After catching the crocodile, Mr. Chuyen proactively contacted and brought the crocodile to hand over to the Song Trang Border Guard Station.

On November 13, Song Trang Border Guard Station contacted the forest rangers and completed the handover procedures according to regulations./.
