On the occasion of Buddha's Birthday (Buddhist calendar 2567 - DL 2023), on the evening of May 31, Comrade Le Thi Thuy, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, and a delegation of central and local leaders came to congratulate Most Venerable Thich Thanh Quyet, Vice Chairman of the Central Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Head of the Executive Committee of the Buddhist Sangha of Ha Nam province, along with Venerables, Venerables, monks, nuns, and Buddhists and attended the Buddha's Birthday Ceremony 2023 - Buddhist calendar 2567 solemnly organized by the Executive Committee of the Buddhist Sangha of Ha Nam province and the Executive Committee of the Buddhist Sangha of Phu Ly city at Bau pagoda, Hai Ba Trung ward, Phu Ly city.

Attending and speaking at the 2023 Buddha's Birthday Ceremony - Buddhist calendar 2567, Provincial Party Secretary Le Thi Thuy wished Most Venerable Thich Thanh Quyet and the leaders of the Provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Executive Council and the Venerables, clergy, and Buddhist followers good health, peace of mind and body, many achievements in Buddhist work, Dharma, and fulfillment in life.

The Provincial Party Secretary expressed his gratitude, acknowledged and highly appreciated the positive contributions of Most Venerable Thich Thanh Quyet and the Executive Committee of the Buddhist Sangha of Ha Nam province in the socio-economic development, security and order, and building the cultural life of the locality, especially in propagating and mobilizing Buddhist followers to promote the great national unity bloc, well implement the policies and laws of the Party and State, organize many charitable and social security activities, contributing to the successful implementation of socio-economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security in the area.

In congratulating the Buddha's birthday in 2023 - Buddhist calendar 2567, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Thi Thuy expressed her wish that the Venerables, clergy, monks, nuns, and Buddhists continue to accompany the nation, unite, bond, promote the good achievements and results that have been achieved, further strengthen solidarity and harmony, continue the tradition of "Protecting the nation, pacifying the people", "Serving sentient beings is making offerings to Buddhas", mobilizing Buddhists and people to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, more effectively carry out patriotic emulation movements, campaigns, join hands to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas, contributing to building Ha Nam province to be more civilized, prosperous and beautiful.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Nam province, the Provincial Party Secretary presented a flower basket to celebrate Buddha's birthday to Venerable Thich Thanh Quyet along with best wishes.

On behalf of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Ha Nam province and Buddhists in the province, Most Venerable Thich Thanh Quyet thanked the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and the delegation of provincial leaders, representatives of central agencies, departments and branches for the Executive Committee of the Provincial Buddhist Sangha in the past time. At the same time, he affirmed that the activities of Buddhism in general and Ha Nam Buddhism in particular always aim at the goal of building a great national unity bloc, for the development of the homeland and the country. Most Venerable Thich Thanh Quyet hopes to continue to receive the attention and facilitation of the Party Committees and authorities at all levels in the province, so that the Provincial Buddhist Sangha can fulfill its goals and implement the motto "Dharma - Nation - Socialism", contributing to building Ha Nam province to be increasingly developed, rich, beautiful and civilized.

The delegation of provincial leaders, representatives of departments, branches and central agencies, together with Most Venerable Thich Thanh Quyet and delegates, clergy, monks, nuns and Buddhist followers performed the Buddha bathing ceremony, released animals and released flower lanterns to pray for a peaceful and happy Buddha's birthday.

At the Buddha's birthday ceremony, the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Phu Ly city presented funding to support the construction of a great solidarity house in 2023 to Ms. Do Thi Vong, Le Loi village, Phu Van commune and Mr. Pham Van Khoan, Ngo Gia Kham residential group, Chau Son ward, Phu Ly city, each family received 50 million VND.
