Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Thi Thuy and the delegation of Ha Nam province worked with Elmich Group, Czech Republic

On May 31, Comrade Le Thi Thuy, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council and the working delegation of Ha Nam province visited and worked with Elmich Group, Czech Republic.

Receiving and working with the delegation were Mr. Do Thanh Trung, President of Elmich Europe; Mr. Milan Novosad, Vice President of Elmich Group; Mr. Giang Thanh, Vice President of the Vietnamese Association in the Czech Republic, Vice President of the Czech Association of Vietnamese origin and leaders of Elmich Group.

In 1995, Elmich Corporation was established in Ostrava, Czech Republic with the main field of manufacturing and trading household goods. After 25 years of establishment and development, today, Elmich has become a large-scale household goods manufacturing and trading group in Europe. The Group's household brands have appeared in many large sales and distribution systems in countries such as Poland, Slovakia, Germany, Austria, Hungary... and have been welcomed by people all over the world . The Elmich brand is a brand sponsored by the Czech government and registered globally in more than 80 countries. In the Czech Republic, Elmich has a leading household goods factory in Central Europe. Household brands belonging to the Group: Elmich, Smartcook, Remoska.

In 2015, Elmich Vietnam Household Appliances Factory with a total investment of nearly 20 million USD was inaugurated in Binh Luc district, Ha Nam province. The factory has a modern 3-in-1 production line system, the leading in Southeast Asia. In particular, Elmich Factory meets standards in consumer goods production such as the UK's international social responsibility certification SA 8000, quality management certification ISO 9001 and environmental management standards ISO 14001. This is a condition for businesses to export goods to the European and American markets, while affirming their commitment to the sustainable development of the community.

The factory has an average capacity of 7 million products per year, and is expected to double its capacity in the near future to meet domestic demand and export to nearly 20 countries and territories. The factory currently employs 500 workers in Ha Nam and will contribute over VND80 billion to the budget in 2023, a steady growth of over 20% since its establishment.

At the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Thi Thuy and the delegation watched a report on the formation and development of Elmich Europe and Elmich Ha Nam; exchanged information on the province's investment activities, acknowledged the development of Elmich Ha Nam, especially the direction of combining production, business and tourism at Elmich Ha Nam Factory; social security activities that Elmich has implemented in the province. Regarding the need to expand production, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee have a policy for Elmich Ha Nam Factory to study and expand the area of factory construction on the land area that has been planned as industrial land (currently agricultural production is not effective). The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and the delegation pledged to create all conditions for Elmich Ha Nam as well as enterprises of the Czech Republic to invest in production in Ha Nam.

On the side of Elmich Group, Mr. Do Thanh Trung and Mr. Milan Novosad pledged to fully comply with the investment regulations of the province and the Vietnamese government; research, invest in development, and manufacture products of the best quality, safest for the environment, as well as people's health when using Elmich products.

During the working session, the delegation visited the booth displaying Elmich Europe products; visited SAPACOM Trade Center, the headquarters of TAMDA Group... where food products and other goods are distributed with more than 50 thousand products of more than 600 partners from many countries, mainly from Asia, including Vietnam, to the Czech Republic market and some European countries.

Here, the provincial delegation discussed with the leaders of TAMDA GROUP about promoting cooperation to invest in production and distribution of high-tech agricultural products of Ha Nam to the Czech Republic market.

On June 2, the working delegation of Ha Nam province continued its working program in Berlin, Federal Republic of Germany.
