The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and members of the delegation visited and presented gifts to the meritorious people at the Provincial Center for Nurturing and Nursing Meritorious People; visited Mr. Do Xuan Tu, a resistance fighter infected with toxic chemicals, Suy Hang village and Mr. Ngo Dang Hanh, a war invalid and sick soldier, Thanh Trai village (Minh Lang commune). The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council kindly inquired about the health and living conditions of the family members of the meritorious people, and expressed deep gratitude for the great loss of the families in the cause of national liberation.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, he hoped that families of people with meritorious services would continue to promote the revolutionary tradition and be a shining example for their descendants to follow. In particular, it is necessary to propagate and mobilize people to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, especially the major policies on merging Hung Yen and Thai Binh provinces and reorganizing commune-level administrative units in the current period. He suggested that Party committees and authorities at all levels need to have more practical activities, regularly pay attention to and care for the material and spiritual lives of families with meritorious services and people with meritorious services to the revolution, contributing to the good performance of "gratitude" and military rear policies.
