Notably, the Division has many innovations to improve the quality of training and combat readiness. 100% of officers and soldiers are confident in their work, have a good understanding of tasks, have a firm grasp of techniques and tactics, master weapons and equipment, strictly follow discipline, always maintain a high sense of vigilance, and are ready to receive and successfully complete all tasks when there is a situation.”

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia praised and acknowledged the results and achievements of Division 5 in the past time; at the same time emphasized: "2025 is an important year for completing the goals and tasks of the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020 - 2025 term; the year of many important events of the country: Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification; 80 years of the August Revolution, National Day September 2, Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress".

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia requested: “Party committees, political commissars, political officers, commanders at all levels and officers and soldiers of the entire Division 5 continue to thoroughly grasp and deploy many measures to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the Central Military Commission and Party committees at all levels, and successfully complete the tasks of 2025. Focus on improving the overall quality and combat strength of the Division; strictly maintain discipline, combat readiness regime, and regular discipline regime. Proactively grasp the situation, handle flexibly and sensitively, and avoid being passive or surprised in any situation. The Division closely coordinates with local Party committees, authorities and forces to maintain security, social order and safety in the area”.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia noted: “Party committees at all levels in the Division need to focus on doing a good job of combat readiness,education , and training so that all officers and soldiers have a deep awareness, identify their responsibilities well, have technical and tactical qualifications, high determination, are ready to receive and complete all assigned tasks; at the same time, carry out well the Army's rear policy work and "Repaying gratitude" activities in the area where the unit is stationed, building solidarity between the army and the people".

On this occasion, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia and the delegation offered flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic martyrs at the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House and the Monument to the names of more than 34,000 martyrs of Division 5 in the unit's campus.
