On the morning of August 12, the Yen Son Commune Party Committee solemnly held the 1st Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Comrade Le Thi Kim Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee attended and directed the Congress. Attending the Congress was Comrade Lai Tien Giang, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command.

Yen Son commune was established on the basis of merging Chan Son, Lang Quan, Tu Quan communes and Yen Son town. In the 2020-2025 term, with the spirit of solidarity and unity, Yen Son commune has promoted its internal strength, exploited the maximum potential and strengths of the locality, mobilized investment resources, led and directed to basically complete the goals set out in the Congress Resolution. The work of building the Party and the political system has been strengthened, the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party have been improved.

The economy in the commune has developed rapidly and sustainably. The whole commune has 106.9 hectares of production according to VietGAP standards; the expected aquatic product output by the end of 2025 is 810 tons. Since the beginning of the term, the forestation rate has reached 106.3% of the plan. The commune has built 4 agricultural, forestry, and aquatic products with trademarks, 13 3-star OCOP products; 2 typical products are exported to the UK market... Education and training work continues to be innovated. National defense and security are strengthened; social order and safety are maintained.

With the theme "Promoting the strength of great solidarity; strengthening the building of a clean and strong Party and political system; innovating, creating, and building Yen Son commune to develop rapidly and sustainably", the Congress Resolution identified 2 breakthroughs, 5 key tasks, 5 specific target groups and 8 main solutions for implementation.

Speaking at the Congress, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Thi Kim Dung praised and congratulated the results and achievements that the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Yen Son commune have achieved in the past time.

He suggested that in the coming time, the Commune Party Committee should focus on thoroughly disseminating to all cadres, Party members and People about actively implementing the operation of the two-level local government apparatus; taking the satisfaction and consensus of the People as a measure of service of the government apparatus. At the same time, building a team of leaders with capacity, vision and innovative thinking, ensuring the process of implementing tasks takes place smoothly, effectively, efficiently and effectively. He requested to continue building a clean and strong Commune Party Committee in terms of politics, ideology and organization. In particular, it is necessary to build a high level of solidarity and unity in the entire Party Committee, considering this a decisive factor for success. The Commune needs to focus on promoting the digitization of records and data, building a modern, transparent, smart and effective governance system.

For the key agricultural and forestry economy, it is necessary to restructure according to the value chain, develop commodity agriculture according to VietGAP and organic standards, linked with production - processing - consumption and e-commerce linkages; strive to build Yen Son into a top-developed commune in the province.

Along with the task of economic development, the Party Committee of the commune needs to pay special attention to leading the development of culture and society in a proportionate and harmonious manner. Continue to build a healthy cultural environment in the community, agencies, and schools; promote the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" associated with preserving and promoting cultural heritages and traditional festivals of ethnic minorities, considering them invaluable assets and resources for sustainable development.

The commune needs to strengthen national defense and security, maintain political security, social order and safety. Continue to build a national defense posture associated with a solid people's security posture and a strong people's hearts posture.
