Dong Giang disbursement of capital for national target programs in 2025 only reached 10%

According to the report, as of May 6, 2025, the total capital of national target programs (NTPs) allocated to Dong Giang was nearly VND 246.5/256.6 billion, reaching 96.04%. Of which, development investment capital was more than VND 139.6 billion and public service capital was more than VND 106.8 billion.

In 2025, the total capital plan (including previous years extended) in the district is more than 273 billion VND; of which investment capital is more than 157.2 billion VND and public capital is nearly 115.8 billion VND. By April 30, 2025, the locality has disbursed more than 27.7 billion VND, reaching a rate of 10%.

At the meeting, the leaders of Dong Giang district pointed out a number of shortcomings and difficulties related to the list of new projects to be started in 2024 and 2025, including the people's cemeteries of communes, the Tu Ngung - A Bung resettlement area (A Rooih commune), the Jo Ngay waste treatment area, the sports areas of communes must be planned in detail at 1/500... which need to be addressed soon.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan criticized the leaders of the District People's Committee and relevant departments and offices of Dong Giang District for the lack of effective measures to speed up the disbursement progress. At the same time, he requested to clarify the responsibilities and review the relevant departments and offices for not seriously reporting the meeting content, especially the content of national target programs in the district in the past time.

Comrade Tran Anh Tuan assigned the Department of Finance to be responsible for inspecting and urging the allocation of capital and disbursement of projects and national target programs in the district. On that basis, Dong Giang continued to clarify the disbursement results of capital sources; in which, going into details of programs for long-term capital transferred, disbursement results compared to requirements, with commitments on these contents.

Regarding the 2025 capital plan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan requested to clearly state the list of programs and items that have completed documents and the selection of contractors.
