News, forecast for coffee prices tomorrow, May 9, 2025, domestic coffee prices continue to decline
Based on the current situation, coffee prices on May 9, 2025 in the Central Highlands provinces may increase slightly if the international market maintains its upward momentum. Today, domestic coffee prices are around VND128,000/kg, and tomorrow, prices are expected to fluctuate between VND128,000 and VND129,000/kg. Some areas such as Dak Lak or Gia Lai may even increase by VND100 to VND200/kg if export companies buy more strongly.
However, people should note that coffee prices can be affected by bad news from Brazil – the world’s largest coffee producer, or from major coffee buyers such as Europe and the US. These factors can cause prices to change unexpectedly.
If you are a coffee grower, monitor the price every day and only sell when the price reaches your desired level, avoid selling all at once so as not to lose money if the price drops. In addition, pay attention to storing the coffee well after harvesting to keep the coffee beans good, thereby selling them at a higher price in the future.
As for exporting companies, they should focus on small and short-term orders to avoid risks from currency exchange rate changes. At the same time, they can find more customers in more stable countries such as Japan, Korea or the Middle East, instead of relying only on the US and Europe - where the market is quite unstable.
