In particular, the key and leading solution that the commune has implemented is to support the transfer of science and technology, improving the efficiency of agricultural production. The commune regularly coordinates with the district's agencies, departments and functional branches to organize short-term vocational training courses, open training courses to transfer science and technology in cultivation and animal husbandry, and guide people in raising animals in the direction of biosafety. Van Hoi also promotes the implementation of programs to support production development. Programs to support plants, seeds, fertilizers and agricultural materials are implemented annually, focusing on priority for poor, near-poor and newly escaped-poverty households.

At the same time, the commune has integrated national target programs on sustainable poverty reduction, new rural construction, and forestry economic development to expand production scale for the people. Thanks to that, many poor households have the opportunity to access new jobs, increase income, and escape poverty sustainably.

As one of the first two households to grow mulberry to raise silkworms in Van Hoi, Mr. Ha Van Doi in Khe Mon village said: "Having participated in a training course on growing mulberry to raise silkworms, I found this to be an effective economic model, so in early 2024, I discussed with my family to invest in a trial. Up to now, from selling silkworm cocoons, my family earns more than ten million VND per month. I just hope to maintain this model for a long time so that life will be less difficult and more prosperous."

In addition, Van Hoi commune also creates favorable conditions for enterprises, cooperatives, and households to develop production and business; actively reviews and supports administrative procedures, and connects market information. From there, it creates jobs and increases income for local workers. Currently, in the commune, there are 2 enterprises creating jobs for 20 workers, 4 cooperatives creating jobs for 31 workers, and 2 production workshops creating jobs for 10 workers. Enterprises and cooperatives not only create stable jobs for local workers but also create production value chains, promoting the consumption of agricultural, forestry and fishery products.

Comrade Tong Gia Cong - Chairman of Van Hoi Commune People's Committee shared: "The commune clearly identified that if it wants to develop a sustainable economy, it must start from the root, which is to support people to develop production. Reality shows that, thanks to the drastic and synchronous participation, in just the first 3 months of this year, the whole commune has created new jobs for 84 workers, shifted 62 workers from agriculture to non-agriculture; trained workers reached nearly 1,200 people. Poverty reduction work has also achieved clear results, the number of poor households in the whole commune has decreased to 10 households, near-poor households to 6 households, people's lives have gradually improved, the appearance of the new countryside is increasingly prosperous".

With the determination to accompany and support the people in economic development, Van Hoi commune has been gradually realizing the goal of building a rich and sustainable homeland. Today's achievements are the result of the continuous efforts of the local government and the consensus and joint efforts of all the people on the journey of innovation and integration.
