Go Co Lang Chieng relic (Cuong Thinh commune, Tran Yen district) was ranked as a provincial historical relic in Decision No. 863/QD-UBND dated June 21, 2007 of the Chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee. The relic includes two important locations: Mr. Bu Ta's house (Dam Hong village), where the conference was held; and Chieng village communal house (village 4), where delegates lived and discussed work, and was also the place where the second Yen Bai Provincial Party Conference took place in 1949 - an important milestone in the province's revolutionary movement.
In 2024, the Provincial Party Committee Office coordinated with Tran Yen district to survey, restore and replace the monument stele, contributing to honoring the traditional revolutionary values, creating conditions for people and the younger generation to express their gratitude and educate the tradition of patriotism. Mr. Tran Manh Cuong - former Secretary of the Party Committee of Cuong Thinh commune affirmed: "This is a project of profound political significance, contributing to strengthening trust in the leadership of the Party, and at the same time being an attractive destination, promoting local socio-economic development".
Thanks to the attention and support of authorities at all levels and superior agencies, in recent times, Cuong Thinh commune has promoted the work of preserving, maintaining and promoting the value of the relic. Mr. Cao Van Quan - Chairman of Cuong Thinh Commune People's Committee said: "Determining the Go Co Lang Chieng historical relic is not only a 'red address' to educate the revolutionary tradition for the young generation but also a symbol of the spirit of solidarity and the will to fight for national independence of the Party Committee and people of Yen Bai. In recent times, the commune has coordinated with schools and organizations to organize extracurricular activities, thematic activities, and journeys to the source, helping students and people to have a deeper understanding of the historical significance of the relic; mobilizing people, especially households living near the relic, to participate in preserving the environment, landscape, and protecting the current status of the relic; at the same time creating conditions for the development of ancillary services, contributing to promoting the local socio -economic development".

In Viet Hong commune, Mr. Tran Dinh Khanh's house is one of four sites belonging to the Van War Zone National Historical Relic Complex. This is a place associated with the revolutionary movement, recognized as a National Relic since 1995. Currently, the commune and district have implemented many activities such as Party admission ceremonies, political activities, traditional education for students, cadres... Mr. Tran Anh Son - an officer of Tran Yen District Cultural Center shared: "We regularly compile explanatory content to be inspirational, easy to understand and apply QR Codes so that visitors can easily access information, thereby increasing interaction and spreading revolutionary values".
Tran Yen District has coordinated with Hung Viet Trading and Tourism Company Limited to build an experiential tour "Following the footsteps of heroes", connecting Van War Zone with red addresses such as: Doc Village Communal House, Au Lau Wharf, Yen Bai Provincial Museum... Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung - Director of the Company said: "Since building the tour, we have attracted student groups, grassroots party cells, political training classes... contributing to educating traditions and opening up the potential for developing community tourism, homestay, green tourism in Viet Hong, Van Hoi".
In addition, Tran Yen district also promotes destinations on digital platforms, deploys QR codes for 100% of relics and tourist attractions; organizes major events such as: launching the "Following the heroes' footsteps" tour, the "I sing about the red address" contest, the Doc Village Communal House Festival... attracting more than 2,000 participants. At the same time, the district also introduces many unique experiential tourism products: Tay ethnic community tourism in Viet Hong, Van Hoi; visiting mulberry fields to raise silkworms in Thanh Thinh, Bao Dap; experiencing lotus season at Sen Que, Ao Xanh waterfall; learning about the culture of the Cao Lan people in Hoa Cuong commune...
Thanks to those efforts, in 2024, Tran Yen district welcomed 63,481 tourists, reaching 158.7% of the plan, an increase of 13.5% over the same period. Of which, international visitors reached 12,825; tourism revenue reached 49.9 billion VND. Mr. Pham Huy Mai - Head of the Department of Culture and Information of Tran Yen district commented: "Promoting the value of 'red addresses' is not only a responsibility in cultural preservation, but also a great opportunity to develop historical tourism, educate traditions for the younger generation and promote the local economy. We determined that it is necessary to continue investing and connecting relic sites into a continuous tourism chain, associated with community experiences, so that Tran Yen becomes an attractive destination for history and cultural identity".
The "red addresses" in Tran Yen such as Go Co Lang Chieng, Van War Zone... are not only places that mark heroic revolutionary history but also become meaningful tourist destinations, contributing to sustainable tourism development, promoting local socio-economic development and spreading patriotic traditions.
