QTO - After nearly 4 months of forming the new province, along with the stable and effective operation of the 2-level local government system, the 1st Congress of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term was successfully held, marking an important milestone for the Party Committee and the People of the province on the new journey. With the spirit of solidarity and democracy, the congress passed many important documents of strategic significance for the sustainable development of the province.

The success of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, has an important significance in the political life of the entire Party Committee, opening a new period in the development process after the two provinces of Quang Binh and Quang Tri (old) came together, demonstrating the solidarity, cohesion, and determination to build Quang Tri province increasingly strong, soon becoming a new growth pole of the Central region.

Mr. Dao Trong Tien in Ward 6, Nam Dong Ha Ward shared: "We hope that the new term with a team of officials with both virtue and talent; with the spirit of solidarity, determination, focusing on promoting the strength of great national unity, exploiting the many potentials and advantages of the province... will be the great driving force to build Quang Tri into an economic center of the Central region and the whole country".

Sharing the same view with Mr. Dao Trong Tien, lawyer Doan Cong Ke, Quang Tri Provincial Bar Association said: “The 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030 is a congress of trust, of solidarity, demonstrating high political determination, proposing many important decisions. The people have great confidence in the provincial leadership team that is both dedicated and visionary in order to build a complete 2-level local government system that operates effectively, efficiently, close to the people, takes the people, and puts the interests of the people at the center”.

According to lawyer Doan Cong Ke: “The documents adopted at the congress are a profound summary of the theory and practice of implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party; 40 years of national renewal, 15 years of implementing the Party Charter; the crystallization of the wisdom, will and aspirations of the entire Party Committee, the entire army and the entire people in the province. The congress set out 5 key tasks and identified 3 strategic breakthroughs in the 2025-2030 term in line with reality such as: Continuing to synchronously complete the infrastructure system, improving the investment environment, attracting and successfully implementing key economic projects, building Quang Tri into a clean energy center, a new tourism and service center of the Central region. Developing science, technology, innovation, promoting comprehensive digital transformation on all 3 pillars: digital government, digital economy and digital society. Improving the quality of human resources and staff, especially grassroots staff to meet meet development requirements...”.

Chairman of Hieu Giang Commune People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Bac added: "One of the important targets for the 2025-2030 period set by the congress is how to increase people's income. To achieve this target, there must be fundamental and specific solutions to maximize the potential and strengths of each locality, prioritizing the synchronous development of infrastructure in rural areas, remote areas, and ethnic minority areas."

“There needs to be a “push” to promote socio-economic development in mountainous, remote, isolated and ethnic minority areas. The Party and State in general and Quang Tri province in particular continue to have major policies, prioritizing sustainable poverty reduction for ethnic minorities. From there, people will have more motivation to escape poverty,” said Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Dan Hoa commune, Ho Thi Thoi.

New impetus for development

After the success of the congress, the entire Party, the entire army, the entire people, localities and units in the province quickly implemented the congress resolution into life and achieved positive results in all areas of social life. This is the thought, sentiment and specific, practical actions of the Party Committee and the people of the province towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Party organizations should step up research and thoroughly grasp the congress resolutions and documents; widely propagate the results of the congress to all classes of people; promptly develop and implement programs and action plans to put the congress resolutions into practice, and arouse a widespread patriotic emulation movement throughout the Party and people. Strengthen solidarity and mobilize people to continue promoting the tradition of the heroic homeland of Quang Tri, uphold the spirit of self-reliance, dynamism, creativity, unity of effort and heart, contributing to the successful implementation of the goal of a rich people, a strong country, democracy, fairness and civilization.
