Dong Nai requests 4 businesses to urgently relocate from Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha directly had a dialogue and discussion with enterprises including: Tien Triet Company Limited, Viet Thai Electric Cable Joint Stock Company, Vicasa Steel Joint Stock Company - VNSTEEL and Southern Rubber Industry Joint Stock Company. These are establishments located in the priority area for site clearance to implement the Provincial Political - Administrative Center project and auction land use rights.

Enterprises reported on the progress of dismantling construction works, moving assets and preparing to hand over the site. Some units commented on compensation and support policies; reflected on difficulties in completing procedures, especially regarding the environment at the new production location; proposed to consider extending the relocation time.

Representatives of the Provincial Land Fund Development Center and related units provided detailed information on compensation plans for each enterprise; at the same time, answered questions from enterprises. The tax authority also clarified the issue of support and compensation for assets that have been fully depreciated but still have value in use, helping enterprises better understand the applicable policies.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha emphasized: The policy of converting the function of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park has been issued for a long time, and the implementation process has had many preparation steps. In the past time, the province has always created favorable conditions for enterprises to maintain production and business. However, now is the stage of land acquisition to implement strategic projects, serving socio -economic development and improving the environment.

Up to now, 100% of households and most of the enterprises in the priority areas have handed over their land to the authorities. Only a few enterprises have not yet implemented the project on schedule, including units that have been invited to work and dialogue with the provincial leaders many times but have still been delayed.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the above 4 enterprises to strictly comply with the policy, promptly relocate and hand over the premises. The deadline set by the province for the enterprises is before September 30. In case the enterprises deliberately delay, the competent authorities will apply measures according to regulations to ensure the progress of project implementation.

“The relocation and handover of the site on time not only demonstrates responsibility to the province but also contributes to speeding up the progress of project implementation, creating a new look for the central area of the province in the future,” emphasized Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha.
