Approval of the detailed planning project of the Political - Administrative Center of Dong Nai province in September 2025

(DN) - According to the People's Committee of Tran Bien Ward, Dong Nai Province, the locality is currently coordinating with the Department of Construction to carry out appraisal steps to approve the 1/500 detailed planning project of the Dong Nai Provincial Political - Administrative Center (at Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park after converting its function) in September 2025.

Previously, the People's Committee of Tran Bien ward also decided to approve the task of making detailed planning for the Political - Administrative Center of Dong Nai province.

The Dong Nai Province Political - Administrative Center has an area of ​​about 44 hectares, including 3 areas: Dong Nai Province Political - Administrative Center; Conference - Exhibition - Event Center and Central Square - Water Square.

Regarding the planning of the Dong Nai Province Political - Administrative Center, up to now, the Provincial People's Committee has also issued decisions approving the general local adjustment of Bien Hoa and the local adjustment of the A2 subdivision planning. Regarding the work of preparing the 1/500 detailed planning project of the Dong Nai Province Political - Administrative Center, the Department of Construction is the unit assigned to be the investor to prepare the detailed planning.

Regarding the work of establishing investment policies and selecting investment forms for the Dong Nai Provincial Political - Administrative Center, in mid-July 2025, the Provincial Party Committee reported to the Provincial Party Standing Committee comparing the form of public investment and the form of investment under the public-private partnership (PPP) method.

Through comparing the advantages and disadvantages of the two forms of investment, the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee found that in order to soon implement the Dong Nai Province Political - Administrative Center Project with a large total investment, investment in the form of PPP and BT (build - transfer) contracts is reasonable and appropriate.

On the side of the Department of Construction, the unit is also currently implementing the architectural design competition for the Dong Nai Province Political - Administrative Center.
