On the afternoon of December 31, the second day of the 2024 New Year holiday, the Hoan Kiem Lake area attracted a lot of people to come and have fun and visit.

At 1:30 p.m., crowds of people poured into the Hoan Kiem Lake area. Walking streets such as Dinh Tien Hoang, Trang Tien, Hang Bai,... were packed with people.

This afternoon, the temperature in Hanoi is 26-27 degrees Celsius, no rain, the weather is quite ideal for participating in outdoor activities.

Many foreign tourists took the opportunity to record beautiful memories at Hoan Kiem Lake on the last day of 2023.

Pham Thi Thu Huong (19 years old, residing in Dong Da district, Hanoi) shared that the weather during the New Year holiday this year is quite cool, with light sunshine, so it is very favorable for sightseeing.

New Year's Day falls on the weekend so families take the opportunity to take their children to the walking street around Hoan Kiem Lake to have fun.

As the afternoon wore on, the crowds on the walking streets grew larger. Many people said they arrived at Hoan Kiem Lake early and stayed until night, waiting to join the countdown show there.

At Thu Le park, hundreds of families bring their children here to play and visit.

At 2:30 p.m., the number of people flocking to Thu Le Park is increasing day by day. The New Year holiday is a good time for many families to relax and have fun at places that do not require traveling too far.

At Thu Le Park, children can see with their own eyes rare animals such as tigers, leopards, bears, pheasants, white-cheeked gibbons, Indochinese tigers, and leopards...

Traveling nearly 200km to Hanoi to have fun and visit during the New Year holiday, Mr. Nguyen Duc Don (35 years old) said that at 4am this morning, his family moved from Lang Son to Hanoi.

"My family has 3 small children, so the first day we went to Thu Le Park to have fun and let the children see the animals. Tomorrow the family will go to the shopping malls to have fun," Mr. Don shared.
