Investment capital continues to pour into Da Nang

According to Da Nang Statistics, in the first 7 months of 2025, the city attracted more than 62,478 billion VND of domestic investment capital, an increase of 126.2% over the same period. Of which, 64 projects were newly licensed with a total capital of more than 43,430 billion VND, 26 projects were adjusted to increase by 19,048 billion VND, 3 times higher than the same period.

Notably, Da Nang has just started the project of the Laboratory for Advanced Packaging Technology Production (Fab-Lab) worth 1,800 billion VND. This is a pioneering model in Vietnam, of strategic significance in developing core technology, concretizing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation and the Strategy for developing Vietnam's semiconductor industry. Regarding FDI attraction, the city attracted 307.3 million USD (up 4.6%), with 65 newly licensed projects, 24 projects with increased capital and 21 capital contributions.

The city was also approved by the Prime Minister to establish a Free Trade Zone with a scale of 1,881 hectares, including many functional sub-zones, which is expected to become a driving force for high-tech industrial development, attracting investment and enhancing Da Nang's position in the region.
