Weather forecast for November 3, rain and floods continue to surround the Central region, causing widespread flooding in many localities in this area, the North also turns to cold rain, some places are very cold.

On November 3-4, heavy to very heavy rain continue to cover localities from Ha Tinh to Da Nang city and the east of Quang Ngai province.

Rainfall in the area from South Quang Tri to Da Nang City and the East of Quang Ngai province is generally 250-450mm, locally over 700mm; in Ha Tinh and North Quang Tri, rainfall is forecast to be lower, ranging from 150-250mm, in some places over 400mm.

In particular, the South of Nghe An province and the West of Quang Ngai province have moderate to heavy rain, rainfall of 60-120mm, in some places very heavy rain over 200mm.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting specifically warns of the risk of very heavy rain, with rainfall possibly exceeding 200mm in just a short period of about 3 hours.

On the night of November 4 and the morning of November 5, from Ha Tinh to Da Nang City, there will be moderate to heavy rain, with rainfall of 20-50mm, and locally very heavy rain of over 80mm. From the night of November 5 to the morning of November 6, heavy rain in this area will gradually decrease.

Not only heavy rain, floods are also besieging the central provinces, causing widespread flooding in this area, many places are isolated in the sea of water.

Accordingly, in the next 12-24 hours, floods on Huong River, Bo River, Vu Gia River will continue to rise and be above alert level 3; Vu Gia-Thu Bon River will be below alert level 3.

In the next 24 hours, flood on Ngan Sau River will change slowly and stay below level 2.

In addition, from now until November 5, floods on rivers in Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, and Quang Ngai are likely to rise again. During this flood, the peak water level on Ngan Sau and Ngan Pho rivers (Ha Tinh), Gianh, Kien Giang, Thach Han (Quang Tri), and Tra Khuc (Quang Ngai) will rise to level BĐ2-BĐ3.

Also according to the meteorological agency, the impact of Cold air strengthens, on November 3-4, the North, Thanh Hoa and Northern Nghe An will have rain in many places. The North, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An will be cold, with the lowest temperature of 16-19°C, and some places in the high mountains of the North will be very cold.

Also during this time, Hanoi is cold and rainy, with the lowest temperature of 17-19°C.

Lowest temperature 22-25°C. Highest temperature in the East 30-33°C, in the West 28-31°C, some places above 31°C.
