On the evening of January 17th, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang's tourist beaches (Da Nang City Department of Tourism) held the opening ceremony of the "Spring of Love 2025" program with the theme "Traditional Tet Fragrance - Modern Spring Colors".

Mr. Nguyen Duc Vu, Head of the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang's tourist beaches, said that in order to introduce the traditional cultural features of the nation for tourists to visit and experience, contributing to enriching the festival and event activities of Da Nang City during the Lunar New Year 2025, from 2023 to the present, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang's tourist beaches has organized the "Spring of Love" program at Da Nang's tourist beaches before the Lunar New Year, an event that has been highly appreciated by locals and tourists.
This year, the Management Board continues to organize the "Spring of Love 2025" program with the theme "Traditional Tet Flavors - Modern Spring Colors," featuring many attractive activities taking place at the East Sea Park (at the intersection of Pham Van Dong and Vo Nguyen Giap streets).
The program includes activities recreating the atmosphere of Tet (Vietnamese Lunar New Year) in the past – rich in traditional customs such as: experiencing the making of banh chung and banh tet (traditional rice cakes) and traditional sweets, showcasing the traditional culinary culture of Vietnamese Tet; experiencing calligraphy art; preparing betel leaves in the shape of a phoenix wing; participating in folk games and street art; enjoying the culinary space at stalls and unique street music and art programs; taking photos with Tet decorations…
Many visitors enjoyed capturing images of the Vietnamese Tet (Lunar New Year) atmosphere at the event.
Introducing the process of wrapping and boiling banh chung (traditional Vietnamese rice cakes) during Tet (Vietnamese New Year) to international tourists.
“This is the first time we’ve experienced a Vietnamese Tet (Lunar New Year) celebration by the sea like this, and it’s very interesting. With guidance from the artisans, I was able to wrap a banh chung (traditional Vietnamese rice cake), which was wonderful,” shared Paul (a tourist from the United States).

"During the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Snake 2025, with carefully prepared recreational and entertainment activities at the beaches of Da Nang, the Management Board hopes to contribute a small part, along with other entertainment venues in the city, to serving the people and tourists in celebrating a joyful and fulfilling new year," shared Mr. Nguyen Duc Vu, Head of the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang's tourist beaches.
The "Spring of Love 2025 - Traditional Tet Flavors - Modern Spring Colors" program will take place from January 17-21, 2025 (corresponding to December 18-22 of the Lunar calendar) at East Sea Park, Vo Nguyen Giap Street (Son Tra District, Da Nang).
