According to the National Economics University's enrollment plan, this year the school will apply tuition fees for students in the standard program from 18 to 25 million VND, depending on the training major. It is known that last year, the school applied tuition fees for the standard program from 16 to 22 million VND.
Currently, the National Economics University has not announced the tuition fees for applied-oriented programs or programs in English. The school also clearly stated that the tuition fee increase roadmap is a maximum of 10% for each year and is implemented according to Decree 81 of the Government .
In addition to tuition fees, this year, the school will spend 30 billion VND on scholarships for students (25 billion VND for scholarships to encourage learning and 5 billion VND for scholarships sponsored by businesses).

This year, the National Economics University will maintain 3 stable admission methods, including: direct admission, admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam, and combined admission.
Specifically, the admission methods are as follows:
In the method of considering the 2025 high school graduation exam scores , the National Economics University uses 4 groups, including A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Math, Physics, English), D01 (Math, Literature, English), D07 (Math, Chemistry, English) and there is no difference in admission scores between the admission groups.
Compared to last year, the school stopped 5 admission groups including: B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology), C03 (Math, Literature, History), C04 (Literature, Math, Geography), D09 (Math, History, English), D10 (Math, Geography, English).
The combined admission method applies to all admission codes in 2025 and to the following groups of candidates:
Group 1, candidates with international SAT or ACT certificates. Conditions for receiving applications, candidates must achieve SAT scores of 1,200 or higher or ACT scores of 26 or higher within 2 years from June 1, 2025.
Note, when taking the SAT or ACT, candidates need to register the National Economics University code with the testing organization. SAT is 7793-National Economics University and ACT is 1767-National Economics University. If candidates have taken the test but have not registered the National Economics University code, they need to re-register with the testing organization.
Group 2: Candidates with the HSA test score of Hanoi National University or the APT test score of Ho Chi Minh City National University or with the TSA test score of Hanoi University of Science and Technology or candidates with an international English certificate (CCTAQT) combined with one of the HSA/APT/TSA test scores mentioned above.
Conditions for receiving application documents: candidates must have HSA score of 85 points or higher, APT score of 700 points or higher, or TSA score of 60 points or higher; or candidates must have CCTAQT score of IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 46 or TOEIC (4 skills: L&R 785, S 160 &W 150) or higher combined with the above HSA/APT/TSA scores;
Group 3, including candidates with international English certificates combined with high school graduation exam scores in 2025. Conditions for receiving applications, candidates with international English certificates within 2 years from June 1, 2025, achieving IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 46 or TOEIC (4 skills: L&R 785, S 160, W 150) or higher and have high school graduation exam scores in 2025 in math and 1 other subject English in the University's admission groups.
The direct admission method applies to candidates who won first, second, and third prizes in national and international competitions for excellent students organized and sent by the Ministry of Education and Training; the time of winning the prize is no more than 3 years from the time of direct admission and graduating from high school in 2025 will be considered for direct admission to the major the candidate registered for according to the allocation quota of the National Economics University.
Candidates who win first prizes in national and international science and technology competitions organized and sent to participate by the Ministry of Education and Training; the time of winning the prize is no more than 3 years from the time of direct admission and graduation from high school in 2025 will be considered for direct admission to majors according to the list announced by the National Economics University.
This year's high school graduation exam will take place on June 26-27. 2025 is the year when the first batch of students under the new general education program will take the high school graduation exam.
Candidates will take the exam in 4 subjects instead of 6 as before. The two compulsory subjects are Math and Literature; the two optional subjects are Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geography, History, Economic and Legal Education, Information Technology, Technology and Foreign Languages (English, German, Russian, Japanese, French, Chinese, Korean). This is the first time that Information Technology and Technology (Industry, Agriculture) have become graduation exam subjects.
Regarding the formula for calculating graduation scores, exam scores account for 50%; the rest is the grade 10, 11 and 12 transcript scores (50%) and priority points if any. Compared to before, the transcript scores increased by 20%. The high school graduation exam results were announced on July 16, 1 day earlier than last year.
