Information from Vietnam Railways Corporation said that the flood in the Central region washed away the roadbed at 61 locations on the North-South railway through Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen , and Binh Dinh (old).
In addition to the 46 points where the roadbed was washed away by floodwaters that have been repaired, there are currently 15 points located between Dong Tac - Phu Hiep and Phu Hiep - Hao Son stations (in the old Phu Yen province) where the roadbed was eroded by floodwaters from the Song Ba Ha hydropower plant.
Of these, a 2km section, from km1.105 to km1.107, had the roadbed eroded; a 4km section from km1.211 to km1.215 had the roadbed eroded and the track deviated by 4m. These locations had difficult construction conditions as the only entrance was the railway.
Meanwhile, the Dieu Tri - Quy Nhon railway line was washed away by floodwaters with an average depth of 28cm, and the roadbed was washed away with an average depth of 40cm from km2+800 to km4+200. This railway section has been blocked since November 21 for repairs.
Due to the flood damage, the railway has stopped running 44 passenger trains. Many passenger and freight trains are parked along the way.
Along with that, more than 21,000 train tickets were refunded by passengers. The railway industry served 9,400 main meals and 6,100 side meals free of charge to passengers stuck on trains.
With passenger trains having to stop along the way in flooded areas, the railway industry has transferred passengers between Tuy Hoa station and Gia Xa station since November 23.
Regarding roads, information from the Vietnam Road Administration said that as of 7:00 a.m. on November 24, there were still 15 traffic jams on 3 national highways managed by localities.
Of which, Khanh Hoa province still has 12 traffic jams on National Highway 27C; Lam Dong province still has 3 traffic jams on National Highway 20 including 2 at Mimosa Pass and 1 at km65+800 to km66 of National Highway 27C.

Currently, Khanh Hoa Department of Construction has banned vehicles from going on National Highway 27C (Khanh Le Pass) and organized a traffic diversion plan for vehicles going from Nha Trang to Da Lat as follows:
Direction 1: From Nha Trang, follow National Highway 1 to km1,556, turn right on National Highway 27 to km174, turn onto Lien Khuong - Prenn Expressway to Da Lat.
Direction 2: From Nha Trang follow Highway 1 to Highway 26 to Highway 27 to Da Lat.
