In particular, at km 1136+850 in the Phuoc Lanh - Van Canh section, the damage was severe, the flood water washed away the roadbed, the rails were suspended, and the length and depth were estimated at 9m. In addition, many railway sections had their rockbeds washed away, trees fell across, signal poles were broken, the national grid was cut off, leading to loss of communication and dispatch; many signal communication equipment was paralyzed due to flooding... Currently, the railway industry is urgently repairing the landslides. Due to the deep roadbed and strong water flow, the repair and restoration of the railway will depend on weather conditions, so there is no official time for the route to be opened.
To ensure the safety of passengers on trains passing through the damaged area, the railway industry organized the transfer of passengers from Tuy Hoa station ( Dak Lak ) to Dieu Tri station (Gia Lai) on November 7. It is expected that about 1,500 passengers will be transferred. During the transfer period, the railway industry will serve free snacks and drinks to passengers.

At the same time, the railway industry creates conditions for passengers in the area affected by storm No. 13 to return tickets free of charge: Passengers with tickets for even-numbered trains (South-North) passing through Tuy Hoa station; passengers with tickets for odd-numbered trains (North-South) passing through Dieu Tri station on November 7 and 8, 2025. Passengers should note that the ticket return time must be before the train departure time stated on the ticket.
Previously, the railway industry issued an urgent notice to temporarily suspend the operation of train pair SE21/SE22 departing from Da Nang station and Saigon station; train pair SE5/SE6 departing from Hanoi station and Saigon station on November 7.
At the same time, some trains on the route will be temporarily suspended, waiting to avoid the storm at stations along the route: Trains SE3 and SE1 departing from Hanoi station on November 5; Trains SE22, SE8, and SE6 departing from Saigon station on November 6; Train SE21 departing from Da Nang station on November 6.
