Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) has just opened the Electricity Science and Technology Exhibition - Techshow 2025, an event within the series of activities of the National Electricity Science and Technology Conference 2025. This is considered a forum for units in the industry to introduce technological achievements, share experiences and orient the digital transformation - green transformation trends that are taking place strongly.
This year's exhibition attracted the participation of power corporations, research institutes, and domestic and foreign electrical equipment enterprises. Many modern technologies were displayed, from smart grid systems, SCADA, DMS, OMS to IoT solutions, AI cameras, UAVs, Lidar, simulation software and renewable energy forecasting technology. Automation equipment, industrial cybersecurity technology , energy-saving solutions and electric vehicle charging systems also contributed to creating a comprehensive picture of innovation in the electricity industry.

Among the participating units, the Southern Power Corporation (EVN SPC) attracted much attention when introducing 10 outstanding products and technology solutions. These products not only demonstrate the corporation’s innovation capacity but also show its readiness to enter the phase of smart operation, digitalized and safer power grid.
Many solutions researched by EVN SPC engineers have made a strong impression, especially in their practical application and ability to solve specific challenges of the Southern power grid.
One of the highlights is the remote control device for cleaning the hotline insulation, which helps eliminate risks when working at height, does not require power cuts, and doubles productivity compared to traditional methods. This is an important step forward in the management and operation of the 22 kV power grid.

In addition, the 110 kV substation equipment simulation model built by the Southern Electricity Testing Company is considered a valuable solution in training and technology transfer. The system fully simulates the substation structure, integrates SCADA - protection - control, helping students master the equipment without having to go to the field.
Many products applying artificial intelligence (AI) also clearly demonstrate the digital transformation orientation of EVN SPC such as the AI system analyzing partial discharge signals, the AI tool diagnosing transformer failures using dissolved gas analysis (DGA) or the Edge AI platform for monitoring labor safety. These solutions help detect risks early, improve power supply reliability and build a proactive safety culture.
The field of digitalization of electrical works also made its mark with two solutions: BIM application in design - construction - operation of 110-220 kV works and Scan to BIM technology, recreating virtual models of the entire work to serve repair, maintenance and smart operation.

In addition, EVN SPC also introduced solutions for customer management, internal communication and data management such as the E-Tivi application or the NR-KH program that displays the entire status of the power grid on a digital map.
The solutions that EVN SPC brings to Techshow 2025 demonstrate the initiative in research and innovation, and at the same time reflect the strong shift of the corporation in modernizing the Southern power grid. From AI applications, IoT, digital simulation to automation and comprehensive digital transformation, the products all aim to improve reliability, optimize operations and serve customers better and better.
Techshow 2025 is not only an opportunity for the electricity industry to share achievements but also an opportunity for EVN SPC to continue affirming its pioneering role in EVN's technology ecosystem. The solutions introduced, when widely deployed, will contribute significantly to the process of building a smart grid, meeting the socio -economic development requirements of the Southern region in the new period.
