(CPV) – On November 27, in Hanoi, Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) and the National Electricity System and Market Operation Company Limited (NSMO) signed a cooperation agreement, with the goal of ensuring safe, continuous, stable, and economical operation of the electricity system and market, in accordance with legal regulations.

EVN and NSMO have jointly developed a coordination agreement to continue to maintain and coordinate more closely in operations, contributing significantly to ensuring electricity supply for the country and people.
The cooperation agreement between the two parties specifies the scope of cooperation areas, coordination content, rights and obligations of the parties with the goal of ensuring safe, stable, continuous and economic operation of the power system; well performing tasks related to power supply and operation of the electricity market in the future...
Accordingly, the two parties will plan the dispatch and operation of the national power system (HTĐ), the national electricity market (TTĐ), ensuring the safe, stable, continuous and economic operation of the national power system; coordinate the operation and handling of information system incidents, ensuring information security for the operations of EVN and NSMO; coordinate in the work of building production and business plans and investment and development of EVN and its member units; coordinate the work of equipping protective relay systems, interlock circuits, incident recording equipment, phase angle measuring and analysis equipment, etc.
EVN General Director Nguyen Anh Tuan said that in the past, EVN and NSMO have always had close coordination in their work. With this Cooperation Agreement, EVN and NSMO continue to mark a new step, connecting and coordinating more closely to fulfill the common task of providing safe and stable electricity for the country, thereby contributing to the development of the Vietnam Electricity industry.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Ninh, Acting General Director of NSMO also emphasized that the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between EVN and NSMO is an important milestone, affirming that the two sides will continue to accompany and coordinate effectively in all aspects of work.
From August 2024, the National Power System Dispatch Center (now the National Power System and Electricity Market Operation Company Limited) was officially transferred from EVN, the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises to the Ministry of Industry and Trade .
During the transition period of 2024, Vietnam Electricity Group continued to support NSMO to successfully complete the plan to ensure power supply in the dry season, energize the 500kV line 3, Quang Trach - Pho Noi, ensure safe operation of the power system and many other important tasks.../.
