Do not let difficulties and obstacles become bottlenecks

Faced with the increasing demand for quality and reliable power sources, especially in key economic regions in the South, and carrying out the mission of "Electricity goes one step ahead", EVNSPC determined that the completion of investment and construction work not only aims to improve the efficiency of capital use, enhance the ability to supply electricity to serve socio-economic development and people's lives, but also contributes to practicing thrift and fighting waste - an important task that the Party and State pay special attention to.
Since the end of 2024, the EVNSPC Party Committee has issued Resolution No. 386-NQ/DU dated December 30, 2024 on focusing on completing comprehensive investment and construction work in 2025. The Resolution clearly states: EVNSPC focuses resources on investment and construction, identifying this as a key and core task for drastic direction and management; each project, especially key and urgent projects, must be assigned to a team of capable and dedicated staff; all difficulties and problems must be promptly resolved or reported to competent authorities in the spirit of "clear, specific, and within authority", not allowing them to become bottlenecks affecting progress.

According to Mr. Bui Quoc Hoan - Member of the Party Standing Committee, Deputy General Director of EVNSPC, in 2025, instead of concentrating the power supply volume at the end of the year as usual, EVNSPC leaders advocated changing the management method, speeding up construction progress right from the first days and months of the year, taking advantage of the "golden time" of the dry season for construction, transportation of materials and equipment. This decision demonstrates a flexible management mindset, closely following reality, helping to proactively plan, progress, and effectively allocate human resources and resources. EVNSPC has changed from a passive to a proactive position, turning challenges into development motivation.
At the same time, EVNSPC promotes the application of digital technology, optimizes human resources and promotes collective strength in construction investment. In addition to the construction investment management software system, the Corporation also deploys digital tools to update, monitor and control the progress of each project in real time. Zalo groups monitor construction progress, hold online meetings via Zoom, video conferencing... to help exchange information, direct and operate more quickly, flexibly and effectively, promptly resolving arising difficulties.

The Party Committee, Board of Directors, and Board of General Directors of EVNSPC also directed specialized departments and member units to review and streamline procedures, shorten processing time, optimize technical designs, and limit changes to save costs; at the same time, strictly manage resources, ensuring that each capital brings practical and long-term efficiency. Thanks to that, many projects were completed in only 4-5 months, significantly reducing human and material costs while still ensuring technical and safety requirements.
Every month, EVNSPC leaders hold meetings to review progress, issue detailed daily plans for the following months, and promptly reward and commend groups and individuals who have completed their tasks excellently.
Responsibility to set an example – the strength of solidarity
EVNSPC leaders, from the Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Director to Deputy General Directors, go directly to the site every week, closely follow each project to resolve difficulties and encourage the spirit of workers. Especially, on holidays and Tet such as Lunar New Year 2025, April 30 - May 1, September 2 or weekends, that exemplary spirit has spread strongly, urging tens of thousands of engineers and workers to work through holidays and Tet at construction sites.

EVNSPC also closely coordinates with localities in project implementation. Regular exchanges help grasp electricity demand, invest in key areas, and promptly resolve problems, avoiding delays and waste. With some localities, EVNSPC also signed a coordination regulation on compensation and site clearance - the key step in determining investment progress and efficiency. A typical example is the coordination between EVNSPC and the People's Committee of Ben Tre province (old), now Vinh Long. The drastic participation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee, departments and local authorities has brought about clear results: many projects have achieved and exceeded progress such as the 110kV Giao Long - Phu Thuan line, the 110kV Ba Tri - Binh Thanh line, the 110kV Phu Thuan transformer station, the 110kV An Hiep station and the 110kV connection line from 220kV Ben Tre - 110kV An Hiep...

With synchronous solutions, in the first 9 months of 2025, EVNSPC has started 48 projects and energized 83 110kV grid projects - many of which have been backlogged for many years. Notably, two key projects were completed on schedule to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, namely the 110kV transformer station of Hoa Binh industrial park and connecting line (An Giang province), and the 220kV Chau Thanh route transitioning on the 110kV Vi Thanh - Long My line (formerly Hau Giang province, now Can Tho city). In the first 4 months of the year alone, EVNSPC has completed 50 110kV grid projects - a practical achievement to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.

It can be affirmed that the spirit of innovation, pioneering, daring to think, daring to do of EVNSPC's leaders; the exemplary and leading role of the collective of cadres and party members have aroused trust, solidarity and pride among all workers, contributing significantly to the task of ensuring electricity for socio-economic development in the Southern region.
