Nearly 8 billion VND in "Hole-in-One" prizes at "Tien Phong Golf Championship"

(NLDO) - The "Tien Phong Golf Championship - One Country" tournament took place on April 3 at Tan Son Nhat Golf Course (HCMC) with more than 200 golfers participating.

After the National Golf Championship and the "Tien Phong Golf Championship - For young Vietnamese talents", Tien Phong Newspaper decided to organize the "Tien Phong Golf Championship - One River Country" from 2025.

Held on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, the tournament is expected to create a new playground for professional golfers and the movement of the whole country, and is also an event for the community to review history and pay tribute to the soldiers who heroically sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

The tournament took place on April 27 at Tan Son Nhat Golf Course with the participation of 218 golfers from many localities across the country, including foreign athletes. The prize structure was extremely attractive with technical prizes, prizes for the best golfers, especially the "Hole-in-One" prize with a total value of about 8 billion VND.

The "Tien Phong Golf Championship - One River Country" is an opportunity for the business community, golf clubs and 218 golfers to join hands to pay tribute to veterans who participated in the historic Ho Chi Minh campaign and Saigon special forces soldiers - those who contributed to the great victory in the Spring of 1975, bringing independence and freedom to the country.

The tournament is an opportunity for golfers to compete and show gratitude to revolutionary soldiers.

Representatives of the Saigon Special Forces Armed Forces Traditional Resistance Club received flowers from the Organizing Committee.

Runner-up Ngoc Thao is both an ambassador and a competitor at the tournament.

The first "Tien Phong Golf Championship - Non Song Mot Dai" in 2025 goes beyond the meaning of a sporting event to become an occasion to show gratitude, demonstrating the morality of "when drinking water, remember its source". A part of the fundraising from the tournament will be used to visit, give gifts and show gratitude to revolutionary soldiers who participated in the resistance wars, living witnesses of history.
