Vietnam women's volleyball team gathers to prepare for SEA Games 33

VHO - Head coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet has just finalized the list of 20 players for the Vietnamese women's volleyball team to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games.

Accordingly, the 20 players at this training session include: Nguyen Thi Trinh, Nguyen Phuong Quynh, Ha Kieu Vy, Vi Thi Nhu Quynh, Doan Thi Xuan, Nguyen Thi Uyen, Dang Thi Kim Thanh, Nguyen Khanh Dang, Vo Thi Kim Thoa, Hoang Thi Kieu Trinh, Doan Thi Lam Oanh, Pham Quynh Huong, Le Thanh Thuy, Le Nhu Anh, Le Thi Yen, Hoang Hong Hanh, Luu Thi Hue, Vi Thi Yen Nhi, Bui Thi Anh Thao and Le Thuy Linh.

With this list, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team does not have player Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen.

Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet has chosen 3 replacements for the opposite setter position including Hoang Thi Kieu Trinh, Dang Thi Kim Thanh and Doan Thi Xuan.

Among them, Kieu Trinh is highly appreciated for her stability and has more experience than the other two athletes.

Two pillars Tran Thi Thanh Thuy and Tran Thi Bich Thuy are currently playing in the Japanese National Championship so they are temporarily absent, but will return to join the team before leaving for Thailand.

According to plan, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will gather and train in Quang Ninh to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games.

The team was officially established on October 24, from October 25, the players entered the training program.

After the professional training session, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet will shorten the list to 14 people to officially go to Thailand to compete in December.

At the 33rd SEA Games, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team are in group B with Indonesia, Myanmar and Malaysia; group A includes Thailand (host, defending champion), Philippines and Singapore.
