Pong Drang Commune Police assisted a resident of Ninh Binh province in receiving back mistakenly transferred money.

On October 25, Pong Drang Commune Police said that the unit had just assisted Ms. Vu Thi Ha (in Y Yen Commune, Ninh Binh Province) to receive back nearly 200 million VND that was mistakenly transferred.

Previously, on October 6, while making a money transfer transaction via a banking application, Ms. Ha mistakenly transferred VND 193,386,000 to Mr. VHT's account (Tan Lap 3 village, Pong Drang commune). After discovering the mistake, Ms. Ha tried to contact the account holder but was unsuccessful. Ms. Ha contacted the Pong Drang commune police to report and ask for support in verifying and contacting the recipient.

Upon receiving the case, Pong Drang Commune Police directed the officers in charge to quickly check and verify the information, identify the mistaken recipient as Mr. T., and proactively contacted and invited Mr. T. to the Commune Police headquarters to work and clarify the content of the case.

During the working process, the officers and soldiers of the Commune Police explained, mobilized, and persuaded Mr. T. to understand the situation clearly, and at the same time promoted the spirit of responsibility, honesty, and voluntary correction. After being informed, Mr. T. voluntarily returned the entire amount of money that Ms. Ha had mistakenly transferred.

On October 20, at A ChauACB Bank, Buon Ho Transaction Office (Buon Ho Ward), the return of the mistakenly transferred money between the two parties was carried out fully and transparently. Ms. Ha was moved to send her deep thanks to the police force for their timely support, helping her to receive her property back quickly and conveniently.

Through the above incident, Pong Drang Commune Police also advised people to be careful and carefully check the recipient's information before making money transfer transactions; when detecting a wrong transfer, stay calm, quickly contact the bank or report to the nearest police station for timely support; do not take advantage of receiving the wrong money to appropriate property, because this behavior can be handled according to the provisions of the law.
