A vibrant festival "Returning to the Great Central Highlands" – featuring traditional folk singing and string instrument performances by the Tay, Nung, and Thai ethnic groups.

Over two days (October 25th and 26th), at the Ko Tam Tourist Area (Tan Lap Ward), the Vietnam Then Cultural Heritage Association organized a Then singing and zither playing exchange program among the Tay, Nung, and Thai ethnic groups, and a Cultural Festival of Ethnic Groups in Dak Lak with the theme "Returning to the Great Central Highlands".

The program was attended by more than 300 artisans from 22 art troupes from the provinces of Lang Son, Cao Bang, Bac Kan , Thai Nguyen, Lam Dong and the host province of Dak Lak...

A large number of artisans participated in the program.

In an atmosphere rich in cultural identity, the artists performed many unique acts such as "New Life in the Central Highlands", "Ancient Then Nung", "New Era", "Letter to My Beloved", "Bac Kan - Thai Nguyen ", "The Fragrance and Beauty of My Hometown's Tea", "Returning to the Central Highlands", "Instrumental Performance on the Dan Tinh", "Singing with the Central Highlands", "Inviting You to Visit Lak District", "Spring Festival"...

In addition, as part of the program, the participating groups also showcased traditional costumes and engaged in folk song exchanges, creating a lively, exciting, and warm atmosphere among the artists.

The exchange program of Then singing and Dan Tinh playing among the Tay, Nung, and Thai ethnic groups and the Ethnic Culture Festival in Dak Lak is not only an opportunity for clubs to exchange, learn, and showcase their talents, but also a meaningful activity aimed at preserving and promoting the value of Then singing and Dan Tinh playing – an intangible cultural heritage of humanity recognized by UNESCO. Through this, it contributes to strengthening ethnic solidarity, honoring the beauty of traditional culture, and fostering national pride within the community.
