This woman only provided the account number that she mistakenly transferred money to, and no other information.

Upon receiving the information, Nam Duong Ward Police contacted the bank to ask for the account owner's identification code information.

The police also looked up the national population database and identified Mr. PNHP (25 years old, temporarily residing in Lien Chieu district) as the account holder who received the mistaken money transfer.

After contacting Mr. P., he confirmed that he had received 95 million VND in his account and agreed to return the money to the owner.

However, because Mr. P's citizen identification card has expired and has not been registered for biometric identification, he cannot transfer money using Internet Banking service.

The ward police assisted and took Mr. P. and Mrs. T. to the bank to receive the returned money.
