Dliê Ya commune women promote revolutionary tradition, build strong Women's Union organization

On the afternoon of October 25, the Women's Union of Dliê Ya commune held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term with the participation of 115/116 official delegates representing more than 6,200 cadres, members, and women in the commune.

Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union Vo Thi Ngoc attended and directed the congress.

The Standing Committee of the Dak Lak Provincial Women's Union presented a flower basket to congratulate the congress.

The Women's Union of Dliê Ya commune was established on the basis of merging the Women's Unions of Dliê Ya, Ea Tân and Ea Toh communes. The Union currently has 6,200 members; 57 village and hamlet branches, and 201 women's groups.

In the past term, the Commune Women's Union has affirmed its important role and position in all areas of social life; movements and activities have increasingly gone into depth, meeting the practical interests of women, contributing to the effective implementation of local political tasks. 8/8 targets have been achieved and exceeded compared to the Resolution of the Congress of the previous term.

Mr. Y Bion Nie, Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Dliê Ya commune presented a flower basket from the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune to congratulate the congress.

Activities to support women in economic development, sustainable poverty reduction, and entrepreneurship are also focused. During the term, the Association helped 818 households borrow capital from the Social Policy Bank with a total outstanding loan of over 44 billion VND; the Fund to support poor women in economic development is over 2.5 billion VND.

The Executive Committee of the Women's Union of Dliê Ya commune for the 2025 - 2030 term was introduced to receive its duties.

With the motto "Solidarity - Creativity - Aspiration - Development", in the 2025 - 2030 term, the Women's Union of Dliê Ya commune determined to continue promoting the tradition of the revolutionary homeland, building an effective Union organization, adapting flexibly to the new context; promoting autonomy, innovation, creativity, and aspiration of female members.

Every year, support 5 women to start businesses and start a business; help 9 near-poor and disadvantaged households headed by women to have stable jobs; coordinate training, vocational training, consulting, and job referrals for 100 or more workers; carry out at least 1 project/part of work; attract women from 18 years old to join the Association to reach over 60%...

Speaking at the congress, Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union Vo Thi Ngoc acknowledged and commended the achievements of the Women's Union of Dlie Ya commune in recent times; at the same time, she suggested that the Women's Union of the commune should continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and creativity, closely follow the political tasks of the locality, innovate the content and methods of operation, and focus on the grassroots; actively participate in socio-economic development, build new rural areas, and cultural life in residential areas; support women to participate more deeply in the province's key agricultural value chains; support ethnic minority women to develop family economy, reduce poverty associated with preserving and promoting cultural identity ; build a team of cadres with political courage, mass mobilization skills, and digital capacity ...

The Congress announced the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union to appoint the Executive Committee of the Women's Union of Dlie Ya commune for the 2025 - 2030 term, consisting of 31 members; of which the Standing Committee has 9 members; appointed 1 official delegate and 1 alternate delegate to attend the 1st Dak Lak Provincial Women's Congress, term 2025 - 2030. Ms. Doan Thi Tuyet was appointed to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Commune Women's Union, term 2025 - 2030.

On this occasion, the Commune Women's Union coordinated with benefactors to present 13 gifts (worth 1 million VND/gift) to female members in difficult circumstances.
