Kinhtedothi – On February 3, Tay Ho district held a ribbon cutting ceremony and installed a signboard to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 – February 3, 2025) - Tay Ho High School project.
The Tay Ho High School Renovation and Upgrading Project is invested by the Tay Ho District People's Committee with a total investment of 169.3 billion VND. The project was started under Decision No. 4842/QD-UBND dated December 29, 2022, to meet the increasing learning needs of students and at the same time improve the qualityof education in the area.
Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Principal of Tay Ho High School informed that the project includes: Demolition of old, degraded buildings, construction of 3 new 4-storey school buildings with an area of 7,080m2, including 45 standard classrooms, teachers' lounge, WC and tool storage.
Construct a new 4-storey administrative building with a total area of 2,400m2, serving administrative work and functional rooms. Construct a 2-storey physical education building combined with a kitchen and dining room with a total area of 2,182m2.
Renovate and upgrade the existing 3-storey building, add new floors and upgrade the technical infrastructure system. Complete the garden system, internal roads, auxiliary works and modern equipment for teaching.
Speaking to Kinh te & Do thi reporters, Tay Ho district leaders said that the completion and putting into use of the Tay Ho High School Renovation and Upgrade project not only contributes to improving educational infrastructure but also demonstrates the local government's concern for the cause of educating people. This is one of the typical projects to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
Tay Ho High School is the only public high school in Tay Ho district. After nearly 25 years of construction and development, the school has continuously improved the quality of teaching and learning. However, in response to the requirements of educational innovation and the reality of degraded facilities, renovating and upgrading the school is extremely necessary.
With a new look, Tay Ho High School now has 48 standard classrooms, a system of modern laboratory practice rooms, a standard physical education area with a spacious soccer field, basketball court and a spacious parking lot. This not only creates the best learning environment for students but also helps improve the overall quality of education.
At the ceremony, the school's Board of Directors expressed deep gratitude to the People's Committee of Tay Ho District, departments and branches of Hanoi City and construction units for creating favorable conditions for the project to be completed on schedule and ensuring quality; at the same time, the collective of teachers and students pledged to continue to strive, promote the school's traditions, and contribute to building an advanced, modern and sustainable learning environment.
The project of upgrading and renovating Tay Ho High School is not only an important milestone in the development of the school but also a testament to the strategic investment in education of Tay Ho district, contributing to realizing the goal of sustainable urban development and improving the quality of life of the people of the capital.
