Ong Cua ST25 Rice was honored for the third time as "World's Best Rice" in 2025

At the 17th Global Rice Trade Conference organized by The Rice Trader (TRT) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Ong Cua ST25 Rice from Vietnam and Phka Romdoul Rice from Cambodia both won the First Prize of the “World's Best Rice” Contest in 2025.

Vietnam's Ong Cua ST25 Rice and Cambodia's Phka Romdoul Rice have both won First Prize in the 2025 " World's Best Rice" Contest.

At the event, Ho Quang Tri private enterprise - the producer of Ong Cua ST25 rice shared about "The journey of researching and developing high-quality ST fragrant rice varieties over the past 30 years and the positive impact of the World's Best Rice award, the spillover effects from helping to increase farmers' income to helping build the brand "Vietnam's high-quality rice" and opening the door to demanding markets such as the US, Japan, Europe and Australia....

With its continuous ranking among the world's best rice varieties for many consecutive years, Ong Cua ST25 rice continues to affirm Vietnam's pioneering position on the world rice map.

In 2019, at the 11th World Rice Trade Conference in Manila (Philippines), Vietnam's ST25 rice surpassed rice from countries such as Thailand and Cambodia to receive the highest award for the first time.

By 2023, at the Global Rice Trade Conference organized by The Rice Trader in Cebu (Philippines), ST25 rice continued to receive this noble title.
