On November 9, in Dai Hoang commune and Nho Quan commune (Ninh Binh province), the Vietnam Young Physicians Association coordinated with the Office of the Ministry of Public Security , the Department of Health, the Ninh Binh Provincial Youth Union and accompanying units to organize the "CAREME Program - Screening for Cardiovascular - Kidney - Metabolic diseases, For a healthier Vietnam".
The event took place during the peak month of World Diabetes Day (November 14) with more than 100 doctors, nurses and volunteers from central and local hospitals participating in screening for people.
The program is a practical activity to concretize Resolution No. 72-NQ/TW dated September 9, 2025 of the Politburo on "Some breakthrough solutions to strengthen the protection, care and improvement of people's health in the new situation". The combination of digital transformation of healthcare with the community screening model demonstrates the pioneering spirit of young people in the medical sector in bringing quality healthcare services closer to people, especially in rural, mountainous and disadvantaged areas.
MSc. Dr. Nguyen Huu Tu - Deputy Head of the Youth and Children's Affairs Department of the Central Youth Union, Permanent Vice President - General Secretary of the Vietnam Young Physicians Association emphasized: "CAREME is not only a voluntary medical examination activity, but also a model of community health innovation based on technology and data. We hope that the program will be applied long-term in localities, contributing to the effective implementation of Resolution 72 of the Politburo and promoting digital transformation of grassroots health care".

Many people came to the program for examination.
At the program, 1,000 Ninh Binh residents received free in-depth examinations, including blood pressure measurement, blood sugar testing, kidney function testing, heart-kidney ultrasound, nutritional counseling, and early treatment advice for cases with risk factors. Many residents who were found to have abnormalities were connected to upper-level medical facilities for timely monitoring and treatment.
In addition to professional activities, the program also spreads the spirit of charity with many practical social security activities such as: giving 20 gifts in Dai Hoang commune and 50 gifts in Nho Quan, each worth 1 million VND in cash, to support households in difficult circumstances; 20 new bicycles were given to poor students who overcome difficulties. The working group also visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Pham Thi Tam (92 years old) - mother of two martyrs in Nho Quan commune.
Not only stopping at medical examination and gift giving, the program also donated Telehealth and AI systems to local hospitals, helping with early diagnosis, patient data management and accurate and effective treatment of chronic diseases.
In addition, seminars are held to help health workers and the public improve their understanding of chronic kidney disease, cardiovascular disease, and diabetes, while encouraging regular check-ups and healthy lifestyle changes.

The organizers gave gifts to people in difficult circumstances and families with meritorious services.
The accompanying unit said it will continue to work with the Ministry of Health and localities in implementing the "Guidelines for diagnosis and treatment of chronic kidney disease and some kidney diseases" (according to Decision No. 2388/QD-BYT dated June 24, 2024), supporting technology transfer, improving professional capacity and replicating the public-private partnership model in health.
In the context of Ninh Binh province investing heavily in the health sector, with the second facility of Bach Mai Hospital and Viet Duc Hospital expected to be operational by the end of 2025, the CAREME - Love Yourself program contributes practically to the goal of building a modern, transparent, effective and closer-to-the-people health system.
From Ninh Binh, the message "Love yourself - Love the community" continues to spread, arousing awareness of self-care, disease prevention, and joining hands for a healthy and happy Vietnam.
