Meeting to celebrate the 67th anniversary of the tradition of the Internal Political Security force

(GLO)-On the afternoon of May 9, the Internal Political Security Department of Gia Lai Provincial Police held a meeting to celebrate the 67th anniversary of the Internal Political Security Force's tradition day (May 10, 1958 - May 10, 2025).

Attending the meeting were officers and soldiers of the Internal Political Security Department and former leaders of the unit through the periods, along with representatives of agencies, departments, branches of the province and units under the Provincial Police.

Over 67 years of building, fighting and growing, the Internal Political Security force has always been absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland and the people, has advised and handled complicated issues and incidents affecting internal politics, prevented and combated signs of ideological, moral and lifestyle degradation among cadres and Party members; coordinated the implementation of state management tasks on security and order in the fields of health,education , culture, ideology, protection of state secrets...

Recently, hostile forces have stepped up propaganda, influencing the institutions and policies, undermining people's trust in the Party and the State... The activities of spreading fake news are complicated and dangerous, the situation of fake news and toxic news is increasing, requiring the internal political security force to uphold political courage, improve expertise and professionalism to prevent and stop complex potential risks that affect the internal political situation in the province.

The unit has proactively grasped and forecasted the situation, reported and proposed to the provincial police leaders to advise the Party committees and authorities at all levels to issue and implement many documents, directives and resolutions to strengthen the direction of internal political protection work, fight to prevent and repel signs of degradation and "self-evolution and self-transformation" within the organization.

Thereby, it has made an important contribution to firmly protecting the Party's ideological foundation, effectively fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints, contributing to the successful implementation of socio-economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security in the province.
