Meeting to celebrate the 72nd anniversary of Vietnam Photography Traditional Day

On March 8, at the Muong Cultural Heritage Museum, the Literature and Arts Association of Hoa Binh province held a meeting with members to celebrate the 72nd anniversary of Vietnam Photography Traditional Day (March 15, 1953 - March 15, 2025) and announced the decision to admit members to the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (VAPA).

The Provincial Literature and Arts Association announced the decision to admit members and confer the title of Vietnamese Artist of the Vietnam Association of Artists on member Dinh Van Hai.

The Provincial Literature and Arts Association awarded a certificate of merit from the Vietnam Association of Fine Arts to artist Duong Van Anh, recognizing her achievements in creative activities in 2024.

The year 2024 marks the strong development of the Hoa Binh Provincial Photography Association with many creative activities, exchanges and art exhibitions, contributing to creating a new look for local photography. The Association has opened up a new direction to improve the quality of works. Members are encouraged to create in groups, exchange and share experiences, thereby improving techniques, artistic thinking and creating valuable works.

In addition, the Association participates in many events in the province, records special moments at cultural festivals, important political events, and coordinates with other departments in the Provincial Literature and Arts Association to organize joint creative camps. With continuous efforts, the Hoa Binh Photography Association has achieved many achievements at regional and national competitions.

At the meeting, the Hoa Binh photographers reviewed the 72-year tradition of the Vietnamese Photography industry; shared creative experiences, discussed techniques and the art of photography, and the secrets to capturing valuable works.

On this occasion, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association announced the decision to admit members and confer the title of Vietnamese Artist of the Vietnam Association of Artists on member Dinh Van Hai; awarded a certificate of merit of the Vietnam Association of Artists to Artist Duong Van Anh, recognizing achievements in creative activities in 2024.
