GELEX stands out in the ALPHA30 ranking of Top 30 Strategic Investment Groups in Vietnam in 2025

This is the first year Vietnam Report has published this list to honor corporations with the ability to create ecosystems, raise governance standards, and promote sustainable growth models.

This is also a transparent and comprehensive measure for corporations that not only have strong investment efficiency but also have the capacity to create new development models, raise governance standards and make positive contributions to the Vietnamese economy .

Built on an analytical framework consisting of 3 pillars: investment and financial efficiency; governance and resilience; influence and leadership capacity. Mr. Vu Dang Vinh - General Director of Vietnam Report introduced the concept of "Alpha 2.0 - Creation capacity" instead of the traditional Alpha 1.0, to emphasize that strategic enterprises not only achieve good results but also must create sustainable results, playing a role in shaping the market instead of just benefiting from the market.

According to the report, the ALPHA30 group has total assets of nearly VND2.43 trillion, employs nearly 540,000 workers and generates total revenue of more than VND1.1 trillion - equivalent to about 9.5% of Vietnam's nominal GDP in 2024. On average, each group has assets of about VND81,022 billion, about 3.6 times higher than the group of asymptotic enterprises.

Although the compound revenue growth rate (CAGR for the period 2020 - 2024) of the ALPHA30 group is only about 11.6%, lower than the nominal GDP growth rate (16.3%), this reflects not a lack of breath but a sign of a process of restructuring and deep strategic transformation in these corporations.

With the above figures and analysis, ALPHA30 positions itself as a "strategic map" to help the business community and investors identify leading organizations in terms of investment - management - new value creation capabilities.
