According to FXStreet, the falling US dollar has supported silver's continuous rise over the past week. The US dollar index (DXY), which measures the greenback's strength against six major currencies, fell to its lowest level in more than 3 weeks, around 99.10.
" Technically, the weaker US dollar makes silver more attractive to investors, " said experts at FXStreet.
The US dollar is under pressure due to growing concerns about the US fiscal imbalance, after the House of Representatives passed a tax cut and spending bill proposed by President Donald Trump.
