On the London floor, at 4:30 a.m. on May 11, 2025, the price of Robusta coffee ended the trading session stable and unchanged compared to the previous trading session, fluctuating between 5,007 - 5,306 USD/ton. Specifically, the delivery price for July 2025 was 5,226 USD/ton; the delivery price for September 2025 was 5,181 USD/ton; the delivery price for November 2025 was 5,122 USD/ton and the delivery price for January 2026 was 5,035 USD/ton.

Arabica coffee price on New York floor on May 11, 2025

Similarly, the price of Arabica coffee on the New York floor in the early morning of May 11 was stable, with little change compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 366.00 and 391.20 cents/lb. Specifically, the delivery period for July 2025 was 387.75 cents/lb; the delivery period for September 2025 was 382.45 cents/lb; the delivery period for December 2025 was 375.05 cents/lb and the delivery period for March 2026 was 368.45 cents/lb.

Brazilian Arabica coffee price on May 11, 2025

At the end of the trading session, the price of Brazilian Arabica coffee was stable, the market fluctuated little across delivery terms, fluctuating between 457.40 - 497.00 USD/ton. Robusta coffee traded on the ICE Futures Europe (London exchange) opens at 16:00 and closes at 00:30 (next day) Vietnam time. Arabica coffee traded on the ICE Futures US (New York exchange) opens at 16:15 and closes at 01:30 (next day) Vietnam time. For Arabica coffee traded on the B3 Brazil exchange, it will open from 19:00 - 02:35 (next day) Vietnam time.

Domestic coffee prices - market falls again.

According to information from Giacaphe.com, updated at 4:30 a.m. today, May 11, 2025, coffee prices in the Central Highlands provinces decreased slightly, a decrease of 300 - 400 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Currently, the average coffee purchase price in key areas is at 128,200 VND/kg.

Specifically, today's coffee price in Dak Lak is 128,200 VND/kg, coffee price in Lam Dong is 128,000 VND/kg, coffee price in Gia Lai is 128,100 VND/kg and coffee price in Dak Nong today is 128,300 VND/kg.

Recently, the domestic and international coffee markets have been continuously changing between trading sessions. On May 11, domestic coffee prices continued to decrease slightly; the world markets on the New York and London exchanges were stable and sideways.

Experts say the coffee market has been on a downward trend since early May 2025 when a series of reports showed signs of improvement in supply.

Faced with unpredictable market developments, the Government has assigned the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment to coordinate with the Ministry of Finance and relevant agencies to study solutions to support the temporary purchase and storage of agricultural products that are prone to falling prices such as rice, coffee, and pepper to stabilize farmers' income during the peak harvest season.

At the same time, ministries, branches and localities are required to closely follow global trade developments, proactively and flexibly manage and promptly provide information to businesses to effectively deal with challenges from international trade instability.

Robusta coffee supplies in Asia are tight as Vietnamese farmers have sold most of their stocks, while the harvest season in Indonesia has yet to begin. This puts pressure on the export coffee market in the short term.

In Brazil, preliminary data shows that green coffee exports in April 2025 reached only 2.88 million bags, down nearly 32% compared to the same period last year. In that context, increased speculative activities after many consecutive price declines, along with money flowing from the gold market to the two coffee exchanges, contributed to a slight increase in prices.

However, the price increase is being restrained due to the strengthening of the USD following the results of the US-UK negotiations and the decision of the US Federal Reserve (Fed) to keep interest rates unchanged.
