Domestic coffee price list updated on the morning of April 29, 2025 |
According to experts, in the short term, coffee prices may remain high or increase slightly if there is a shortage of supply and high export demand. However, if supply improves and export contracts are fulfilled, coffee prices may stabilize or decrease slightly. Close monitoring of the harvest situation, export demand and international market developments will help producers and exporters make reasonable business decisions.
However, current coffee prices are being supported by the fact that ICE London Robusta coffee inventories continue to fall to multi-month lows.
Global Robusta supply is forecast to be in short supply this year, especially due to lower production in Vietnam and Indonesia. However, pressure from the upcoming Arabica harvest in Brazil and a slight recovery in the US dollar are slowing the rally.
The domestic and world coffee markets are expected to continue to fluctuate strongly in the coming weeks as actual production reports from Brazil, Vietnam and Indonesia become clearer.
In the first quarter of 2025, the global coffee market witnessed a strong increase in prices, mainly due to supply-demand factors and macroeconomic fluctuations. According to the report of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), global coffee production in 2024 increased by 4% compared to the previous year, reaching 10.5 million tons, thanks to favorable weather conditions and advances in cultivation techniques. However, factors such as the El Niño phenomenon caused severe droughts in major producing countries such as Brazil and Vietnam.
