At the end of the trading session early this morning, May 3, Robusta coffee prices on the London-UK exchange increased by 2.76%-3.22% while Arabica prices on the New York-US exchange increased slightly from 0.19%-0.41%.
Specifically, Robusta coffee prices for different terms are as follows:
July 2025, up to 5,291 USD/ton, an increase of 165 USD/ton.
September 2025, up to 5231 USD/ton, up 150 USD/ton.
November 2025, up to 5,164 USD/ton, up 143 USD/ton.
January 2026, up to 5071 USD/ton, up 136 USD/ton.

Converted to Vietnamese currency, Robusta coffee prices on the floor range from 130,800-136,500 VND/kg while domestic coffee prices yesterday afternoon were 127,100 VND/kg, down 4,000 VND/kg due to the impact of the previous coffee price drop.
With the floor price movement this morning, it is expected that today, domestic coffee prices will recover.

Looking back at the past week, Robusta coffee prices on the London exchange had alternating sessions of increase and decrease with large amplitudes. The overall trend was downward, with prices this weekend being 124 USD/ton lower than last weekend, with the delivery date of July 2025.
This development reflects the market psychology is still unstable and unpredictable when the coffee market is greatly affected by world financial investors.
Arabica lost 300 USD/ton
Arabica coffee futures for July 2025 delivery rose to $8,500/ton, up $20/ton from the previous session but down $300/ton from the end of last week.
