World rubber price
At the end of today's trading session, the price of rubber futures for June in Thailand decreased by 0.2% (0.17 Baht) to 73 Baht/kg.
Similarly, the price of rubber futures for June on the OSE - Japan decreased by 0.5% (1.7 Yen) to 326 Yen/kg.
The price of TSR20 rubber on the SGX - Singapore continued to decrease in delivery periods. Specifically, the July 2025 contract decreased by 0.70 cent/kg, down to 159.90 cent/kg; August 2025 decreased by 1.10 cent/kg, down to 158.50 cent/kg.
Rubber exports decrease in volume but increase in value
The Import-Export Department ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ) cited statistics from the Customs Department, saying that Vietnam's rubber exports in the first 15 days of May 2025 reached 35,316 tons, worth 64.14 million USD, down 2.8% in volume but up 9.2% in value over the same period in 2024.
Accumulated from the beginning of the year to May 15, 2025, our country's rubber exports reached 488,042 tons, worth 937.4 million USD, down 6.9% in volume but up 19.6% in value compared to the same period in 2024. The average export price of rubber during this period increased by 28.5% compared to the same period in 2024, reaching 1,921 USD/ton.
According to the Import-Export Department, a positive signal for rubber exporting enterprises to the EU market is that the European Commission (EC) recently announced a national risk classification system within the framework of the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), expected to take effect by the end of 2025.
Accordingly, Vietnam is classified in the “low risk” group, so simpler control procedures will be applied when exporting agricultural and forestry products such as coffee, wood, cocoa and rubber, etc.
In addition, the EC also announced measures to support businesses to reduce administrative burdens and compliance costs, such as allowing the reuse of previous declarations for re-imported goods and providing guidance documents from April 2025.
The aim is to facilitate trade and ensure effective compliance with the EUDR. According to the EC, countries in the “low risk” group will be subject to simpler controls, thereby facilitating trade and exports.
Domestic rubber price
Purchase price at Mang Yang Rubber Company today: Grade 1 latex is at 401 VND/TSC/kg, grade 2 latex is at 397 VND/TSC/kg.
Today's mixed latex: Mixed latex type 1: at 409 VND/DRC/kg, mixed latex type 2 at 359 VND/DRC/kg.
Phu Rieng Rubber Company is stable today: Water latex price is at 430 VND/TSC/kg; Mixed latex price is at 395 VND/DRC/kg.
Ba Ria Rubber Company, the purchase price of raw latex at Xa Bang factory today has no fluctuations, specifically:
Price of latex: Level 1 is priced at 415 VND/ TSC degree/kg applied to TSC degree from 30 and above; Level 2 is priced at 410 VND/ TSC degree/kg applied to TSC degree from 25 to under 30; Level 3 is priced at 405 VND/ TSC degree/kg applied to TSC degree from 20 to under 25.
If the latex quality does not meet the above standards:
+ TSC degree below 20 due to rain, will be purchased at a price 10 dong/TSC degree lower than level 3.
+ When 9.0
+ When pH >9.8 or latex testing detects fillers or preservatives other than NH3, purchase at 80% of level 1 latex.
Today's mixed latex prices are stable: Cup latex, coagulated latex with DRC ≥ 50% at 18,500 VND/kg; Cup latex, coagulated latex with DRC from 45 ≥ 50% at 17,200 VND/kg; Clotted latex with DRC from 35 ≥ DRC 45% at 13,800 VND/kg.
Price at Binh Long Rubber Company: Water latex: 386-396 VND/TSC/kg; mixed latex with 60% DRC is 14,000 VND/kg.
